I could quite believe this!

Right, I've deleted any off topic posts that were made in here (or other related ones). These included posts that I made, that immediately upon reflection were a little on the immature side. Lets keep it clean and friendly, and if you don't have any accurate and proper advice, then please don't post. Cheers Grant

I really like it too.

I finally watched this this morning. Wow - what a class difference. Tua was brilliant and showed why he was once the No. 1 contender. I do feel for Cameron - this was a make or break fight for him, and it proved what many suspected, that he is never going to be a serious contender amongst the worlds best heavyweights. Lets hope that Tua can get the fight out of the way that he is contracted to do in NZ, and then can then make a run in the US again. Cheers Grant

I just ride it out and pretend it doesn't exist. Normally by lunchtime it is pretty much gone. I also drink a sh*t load of water and eat a couple of bananas. Don't think they help bit it is good to get food and water inside me. Oh yeah I normally have a couple of strong short blacks (but that it normal hangover or no hangover) although in saying this, I have not had a hangover in a long time. I'm too old for that sh*t now and the kids are not very sympathetic at their age. Cheers Grant

Nice work Ollie. I like beer (I am just finishing a Sam Adams as I type this)

Tony My (now Andrew's) 97 E36 328 did exactly the same. It was knackered bit of wiring near the boot (that is exposed when the boot is open - near the LHS boot strut from memory) It would get water into it and cause the alarm to go. Cheers Grant

I make up songs and sing them to myself - but only when in the car by myself. Yesterday I was driving to San Francisco and couldn't find a decent radio station, and to fight the boredom of the freeway I was singing "San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flowers in Your Hair) by the Mamas and the Papas" but I changed all the lyrics (what few I actually knew). I think my version started: "If your driving to San Francicso, be sure to wear some nice clean underwear" or something equally pathetic I also turn down the stereo when trying to find an address I have never been too, I don't know why, the stereo is volume is completely unrelated to spotting the address/building I am trying to find! Brook - I hope it all goes well tonight. You have put a lot of planning and work into it, so I'm sure it will be a night to remember (for all the right reasons) Cheers Grant

Check out the big screen HDTV in the new Dallas Cowboys stadium. The stadium itself is being referred to as the 8th Wonder of the World. It is phenominal. I watched the shome eason opener on telly a couple of nights ago, and was blown away by it all. Everything's bigger in Texas. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cowboys_Stadium Cheers Grant

Getting car parts at "wholesale". I gave my car to my father in law to give it a thorough going over mechanically. He gave me the invoices for the parts he replaced. His discount off retail (even though he has been a retired mechanic for 4 years now) was at least 50% off, but up to 70% off retail on some parts. Also, I love the fact that my VW now drives like a brand new car!! Cheers Grant
