Might wanna try a warranty claim on that I reckon........... Not a bad track record though at all - well done!!
-
Seems to be a influx of 7 series into here recently - nice to see something a bit different, kool cars.
-
Given that alcohol dulls pain (it really does, I've tried this theory myself various times........ ), if you can grab a pic of a nurse opening a bottle of pi$$ for ya, by Friday night, I for one will courier ya some more 'pain relief'...........guaranteed!!!! (Bear in mind though, if she's not half reasonable on the eye, might be Lion Red the courier drops off.............) And if she looks like the typical mother-in-law, you're buying for us.................
-
Sounds too good to be true already.............
-
Just remember, no matter how good she looks in that uniform - 'enema' is not the option box to be ticking for your entertainment activities today....... (And no - we will not be taking 'The drugs made me do it' as an excuse...........!!)
-
Just in time for Xmas cruising - you'll be stoked.............
-
Bummer, bigtime, but brilliant in that it looks like you're sorta still grinning in that pic. Coulda been lots lots worse than where you're at now with things - may the drugs be goooood, the nurses cute, & your stay there short......... Keep your chin up on it ae, & remember we're all here @ this end ready to give ya $hit while you're waiting for the next drug's hit....... Might wanna mutter a wee 'Thanks' at that guardian angel that was flying with ya.........
-
Up where you live, its definitely all about the look.................
-
Well to be fair, (without it maybe being gender biased opinion from she who waves the apron strings), I'm willing to bet that at the time it was probably brilliant work............

Anyone in Christchurch able to help me out with a code scanner?

Whats the story, fixed now, both the 'naughty children' are back home........??? -
Yea, I wouldn't be either - some gonad has probably screwed up the trailer wiring on it, or the plug is faulty or whatever - good find though. Fault could even be within the trailer's wiring itself - sorta thing ya wanna play round with when ya got a couple hours, a good multi-meter, & some Amber Fantas to dull the pain of chasing it......
-
I'm ditto what that funny ba$tard ^^^^^^down in Dunedin reckons.............
-
Could just be karma - ya should be towing with ya ute anyway mate, not a quality German car instead............... Should pi$$ in towing round that trailer though with no hassles - my quad yanks round a bigger one without grief....... Maybe its just sending ya a subtle subliminal message about what sort of relationship it wants with trailed devices behind it....... I'd be learning it a good lesson by dropping a decent salvage trailer on behind, & then poke the girl over & up the hill from Mosgiel a coupla times, till it comes right....
-
Well yes Clinton, given you've just brought a 540 WITH a towbar for not much more than that.......haha

Alternator belt still on it..........................??? Thump / squeak ' squeal indicates it might have chucked / broken the belt. Might want to check alternator condition itself though too, if that is the case, as it might have done poos with its brushes / bearings............. -
The SRS bypass thingy.................
-
Convertible is for sale too, so might not be into trades............

http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-cars/bmw/635csi/auction-675402621.htm Nope, its its twin, cos this one in this thread isn't for sale..............

Hmm, haven't seen those stats before...........................& you could say whatever you like about that I suppose - I'm probably not gonna say much though on it, bar no pics really needed or wanted What you do in your spare time is totally up to you..............

You're right in what you are saying there - rolling diameters affect the speedo reading. NZTA legislation says that anything outside 5% change from OE rolling diameter, needs certification - this would also involve speedo calibration / testing in all likelihood, as well as brake tests etc. NZTA WOF guidelines state a 'speedometer must be accurate' theres no % rating though as to just how accurate that is........... What ya then get under 4kph threseholds, is all the Noddy's so busy looking @ speedos in order to avoid tickets, that they miss other more serious $hit happening out in front / behind / beside them..... RE your Tatra speedo - P.O.S like that shouldn't exceed 50kph anyway..................... Edit - re the Aussie legislation - I think you'll find that's a follow-on from what other countries in EEC etc do anyway, which is another reason why our speedos have been the same way for so long now...............

Very koooool collection there - be worth a mint!!! Edit - This is / was Paul Walkers collection............video doesn't say that....... http://www.stuff.co.nz/motoring/videos/9521674/Fast-and-Furious-star-had-cool-car-collection Regardless of anything else, just died too early. In a vehicle, driven by some-one else. Ironically, it was films with vehicles that made him famous, & gave him the $$$ to buy his own collection. And, died in a Porsche - a breed of car he obviously quite liked really............. Call it what ya like, but its a real shame really...............

That's true, to a certain extent. My ute speedo is 100% accurate against GPS, but its up 3 sizes from original tyre size fitted. Got an uncle, that had a new Colorado as a rural mail vehicle, speedo 17% out on it. Does'nt 'sound much', but they do lots of kms, in short amounts of time - throws it out of warrenty 'early', because it really hasn't travelled 100,000kms when speedo says it has, & also had him extra in road user charges - 250,000km on the vehicle was only actually 207500......... Most speedos read faster than actual speed being travelled............ Regardless, its always the driver's responsibility to stay within the law if you want to avoid tickets........... If you want to survive - drive to the conditions. If you want to avoid tickets - drive to & under the posted speed limit & what your speedo says.
