  1. 32mm spanners are available at any shop that sells tools... I got mine from Supercheap auto for $20 USUALLY if you don't remove the belts a good whack with your hands will get it off - remember lefty tighty righty loosy. (opposite) Pumps are easy to get. But the amount of work it is to change it you might as well do the Timing belt, tensioner, camshaft and front crank seals at the same time... as you have to take off all those parts, and you do detention a spring that is part of the timing belt tensioner.
  2. paul from milland can get the gas struts new, was like $30 each for the E34.
  3. Is it possible to retrofit a Charcoal Canister into an E34 M50? gas smell stinks like vomit.
  4. Happy new year kids! as the unfortunate sober-driver I'm still sober enough to post this. Now we can start using our 2013 Bimmersport calendars...
  5. VIN decoder agrees... HE52 Build Code, one of not many in RHD apparently. http://www.bimmersport.co.nz/forums/index....st&p=315631
  6. Pop into the dealer? Probably not worth buying that second hand... Milland/Euro Italian...
  7. Removed Engine/Trans on E30. It's on now....
  8. The clear tube is for the headlight adjusters, it won't work, or ever work without immense effort. - just rip it out. That's not usually where the carbon canister is though. My E30 has a little valve with a plug that must send things to the carbon canister(valve comes out of the bottom of the Throttle Body), which is in-front of the below of the brake booster.
  9. Drive to Dunedin, we'll see how many beers this takes. At least we can have a touring each to sleep in when we're inebriated.
  10. Yours like this? One of these days I'll make an E34 fuse location thread later, with all of them.... I have too many electrical manuals..
  11. I've seen it in Dunedin.... using up both lanes like a rich c**t!
  12. Merry Christmas, Just finished work.. Time and a Day for me, kthanks. First Christmas day post yay. I'm watching some Documentary on Lego LOL.

    another BMW!

They are a little on the big side, but BIG WHEELS ARE COOL LOL. Today it is sunny!
  14. E30's use a 57mm C.B I think. Tape IS hory. and you need 6laps of it to make the wheels not shimmy hahah. Will contact that fella shortly, probably not interested in doing work at this time of the year!
  15. Need a set, Have absolutely no luck at all locally. Was even told a by a wheel shop here that they use insulation tape. - Probably need more tape LOL Seems that they are only common overseas......

    another BMW!

Firmly jammed at the back of a lockup... with a house load of furniture in front of it.
  17. Drop an M20 into it, so you can tick tick tick all the way home.
  18. paid $750 for mine start of the year.... Including shipping. Plenty of n00b flat-peak tards in Auckland at least.
  19. Oh how I hate the Dog and Lemon Guide. also some of the more tricky keys, like 4-way cut E34 keys ect.. actually are not simple to cut... a generic locksmith can't cut one at all. Mine had to be Laser cut with a special machine... and cost $46. and most of the cars with simple to cut keys can be broken in with a f**king dinner fork anyway.... Best way to do it? 1. Don't buy a POS Used Import with only one key. 2. Don't lose your key like a retard.
  20. It's a stock V6! must be a special model.
