AN E30 Fan

Took him for his first drive today, slowly getting there

False alarm, battery was dead thats why it wasn't starting. Still white smoke coming out the back but that could be because it has no muffler and it hasn't been running in the last month. Going to take it for a quick drive to see if it overheats or uses any water

No more than a few mins, temperature gauge was still in the blue. All the rad hoses are warm apart from the bottom one(?), nope it wasn't missing it was running fine

I've just replaced the radiator, thermostat and all the radiator hoses. I've filled up the radiator with half coolant and half water, I just tried to start it and it started fine initially, after a few mins white smoke started coming out the back of the exhaust (coolant I'm assuming). I turned the car off and tried to restart it again to no avail. My question is why is there coolant coming out the exhaust? Head gasket? Its never been overheated, I have only driven it to the end of my driveway (10m or so) without and radiator. Edit: and now the car won't start

Spotted a E34 M5 heading the opposite way on the motorway this afternoon, at the Takapuna off ramp plate SY***** also saw Graham in his Megane going over the harbour bridge 2 mins later.

Yep had them both done at a mechanic locally for $200 cash. $95 is a little steep

Its called ANPR, Automatic Number Plate Recognition. I went through a police check point on the Pakuranga Highway only last week where they had one of these vans parked 50m before the check point. Seemed to work very well, they had 8-10 cars pulled over on the side of the road.

Nope, was on my way to get it fixed. So basically, if I had left the car alone it would have been a 50 dollar fix, it then turned into a $250 fix when I blew up the muffler. And if I hadn't blown up the muffler then I wouldn't of had the accident
