e36 coupe for me thanks!

The top (curve) rubber don't need anything, they just wedge into place. The bottom one has self adhesive backing. Just make sure the place is VERY clean before it goes on that you'd be sweet. I cleaned it with meths. (dunno how to spell but it's the purple stuff)

Been there, done that. Got the stuff from Team McM for around $125.00 all up. Forgot what's the exact part number, but I am sure they can find out. Done both sides for around an hour total. Taking the window off is the best as you can take the chance to clean and replace properly. Careful not to drop the window at photo 6 & 7. Tools wise, you'll need a T40 star-shape bit, 16mm and 8mm socket.

$140 is for Oil Service actually. Inspection 1 should be at around $400/450 mark.

What's the model of your camera? Your 4GB card is probably (actually very likely) to be a new SDHC standard. but Not all camera support SDHC. It's partly correct to much of the posts here. Many camera only support FAT16 (or FAT) which has a limit of 2GB, partitioning won't help because most (if not all) digital camera will not recognise multiple partitions on a SD card. Even if this can be done on a computer.

eiu... Only car that look good in a three spoke is a SAAB.

A good car is worth driving for. Besides, try their website and see what they have in stock then decide.

It's priced in US around the same as a HTC Tytn. So if that's anything to go by then in NZ term should be around $1300-1400 on parallel imported or just under 1800-2000 if Vodafone officially do them.

Can't really tell what's that based on. E30?
-
Definitely possible as I seen a few e46 with standard DIN size headunits. Some bezel are not contoured so they are a flat piece of plastic and I seen some contoured ones that flows with the interior's trim. Those looked nice. I suppose you can get them from audio installers or interior trimmers? eBay will bound to have some I would imagine.

Sure, it's from an old catalogue. But I can't find them from the current website anymore.

Someone more expereienced please correct me if I am wrong. M50 (and M52) run on cam chain, unless the gear have missing tooth or the chain has stretched somehow then it's the cam chain tensioner that's getting old.

Doesn't stop people from trying though. Anyway, Hella does have a e36 HID headlight where the whole headlight unit is replaced. That one is legal. If it's the range that you need, how about some pencil beam driving lights?

Nice~~!

Great stuff. Not real though is it?

Agreed! Seen that so many times when I work at Ellerslie Car Fair. Those that have over 100k on the clock sit there for weeks not selling. Especially imported cars probably idle for much of its life stuck in traffic. They should have a engine run-time clock like tractors as well as an odometer. (Many modern BMW does have that but need a GT1/MoDIC to read it I think) ^^^ Can someone confirm this?

Those lights are for people that can't be courteous to each other. But then when the lights are up, they can't follow the rules. How hard is it to "merge like a zip"?

Loved the M3 Covertible, performance, style and leisure all in one.
-
Does that mean all e36 can use 19" legally because M3 comes with 17" from factory? (even when 316/318 only has 14" or 15" to start with)

I think the metal part or the rear shelf is joint with the chassic. I don't understand what does the welding has to do with engineering report? Can you not just weld a piece up Monster Garage style?

"Brake light circuit failure" - What does this mean?
my_e36 replied to jjs's topic in Brakes, Suspension & Steering
Did you change the bulbs to those LED types? As they have different current requirement, it will trigger the warning. If that's the case, you might need a resistor pack. -
Would it be trans-fluid level?? Autos trans works on mostly hydrulics amI right?
-
That's really not necessary on an Auto... Couple of audio mods seem neatly done though...

If there's a standard code, then it wouldn't be a "security code" would it? See if you could ask the guy/shop you bought the car from had something about that? Or contact BMW HK maybe?
