Is it just one window or all of them? use a multimeter to find any leaking current in connections to narrow the wire down.

Are BMW glovebox torchs interchangable within 3 series models? example e36 into e30?

My 325i was 65mm off the front, with cert. running B+G superlows on 16' Had to get new bumpstops installed to pass cert. (hence the name) car is now long dead from fire. also failed on WOF every 6months as holes appeared in exhast system everytime.

cheers for that. lucky i have an electric fan only. I will save up for a new finger plate now. It will have to it in a months time when my thesis is handed finally and keep the car in the garage until then.

A broken clutch finger is possible. As I have used the old e23 finger plate and release bearing. Thinking about it more, the clutch pedal seems to giggle abit and does not release smoothly. Edit; Its just a standard flywheel from the e23.

or is it show car rego? the one where you can only drive a certain amount of km per year?

Does the E30 quailfy for a classic car rego?

My engine has developed an unusal engine vibration from idle to about 2000rpm. it is a m30b35 (from 1992, 735i) with a G424 gearbox (4spd, from e23 732). When the engine was tranplanted into my e30 (1984) it had an auto. however when this blew up, I changed it to manual at start of 2007. Every since i changed it to manual, it was always alittle slow to rev from idle. I think due to it still being an auto ecu. The vibration is still there no matter wheather it is in gear (driving around town), in neutral (clutch out), or with the clutch in. I am suspecting either a big end bearing or loose flywheel bolts. any ideas?

Its easy to lower the roal toll. Raise the price of petrol. when petrol was at $2.20 per litre the road toll was at one of its lowest for the quarter in 08. But then again, the lack of govts interest in public transport will force more people into cars as the NATS love building more and more roads. off topic sorry

At my work they are changing there aircraft fleet to a multi grade oil. So i was able to get my hands on some unused left over AD100 SAE50 oil. Before I do my next car oil change, I was thinking of running some AD100 in my M30 for about 1000kms (my trip up to tga and back this weekend) then changing it over to some fresh ELF15w40. The reason for using it is to clean out the oil channels etc.. cause it has cleaning additives in it. Im just worried about the possibility of the oil eating at the seals. Its a straight 50 weight, so the engine will need a warm up before any use. Castrol AD100 extra info anybody think this is a bad idea?

How long is long? I will have look. I got some spare 19mm wheel bolts. not sure on the length
