  1. Stupid bimmer pedals pivot at the floor = hate by me, must be my size 13's getting in the way. I would love having a floating gas pedal (like brake and clutch) in the e30.
  2. Pearl Jam, and Duran Duran (girls on film)
  3. automatic's are good to learn to leftfoot brake. I try and do it most of the time. but my leaky slave and my short shift kit, prevent it sometimes. I pref jap cars to heel toe than my bimmer. As the gas pedal is connected to the floor, i find it harder to prevent teeth cleaning. Watching best motoing vid's they are heel on the gas and toe on the brake, which i find easier than the other way around.
  4. Aslong as the bolt holes line up then, the bell housing doesn't have to much. You may beable to change bell housing with the new gb if it doesnt fit.
  5. Auto's are good for learning to keep the car balanced through corners, with the foot brake. Edit: The auto box, spat the dummy at me, after a while. But considering what i was able to achieve, it was worth the cost of the manual conversion.

  16. I do that. Esp when some ppl on this site have been pwnd!!!111!!! by some of these. Stories like this encorage me to participate in this activity. Plus it makes me more aware my surroundings while driving which is always a good thing. Nothing wrong with bashing sterotype's Grant. I never get sick of bashing this group of drivers. Hastings is always fun to drive round. Apart from the lack of landmarks around which make it a tad more difficult to navigate.
  17. Thats awesome mike. sounds like your havin fun doing it aswel.
  18. Just becareful with doing this. I tried to do this in my e30. Everytime I wanted to move the sunroof, it drew so much current or the voltage dropped so much that my radar dec turned on and off, while the sunroof was being moved. This got very annoying, as the radar made several beeps everytime power was lost and returned. Just make sure you fuse the unit. I ended up running the cable to the back of my ciggy lighter. Good Luck.

  22. Something i heard while in the jungle is using a M50 328i crank in the M20 block. Only requiring some shims at one end to help pack it up. I so want to get my 2.7 going again.
