  1. manawatu muffler centre in swamp town. Good price, excellent workmanship. Had a few bits and pieces done there. I would recomend one stop in tauranga (green building), but thats to far away for you.
  2. The more spare parts for everyone
  3. Word, my toe rags bro. Dont forget there are too many people in the 65+ demographic area that will jump up and down cause they have nothing better to do in tauranga. sh*t gets blowen out of proportion by them. Aviation ave was my fav place to watch girls/cars at the mount. Complusory insurance all the way. The only problem with this is that there are too many laws being introduced here in NZ. I agree that society and the courts should be more reponsible in handing out sentences that discourge and publicly shame people doing undesirable acts.
  4. Go for a nice spring like B+G. Im sure others will suggest some others. Not kings. I got kings in at the momoent, i hate them to the death. I should be getting some new ones in about a month or so. I had superlow B+G springs in my 325. Best mod ever. I picked up a second hand set for $250 ages ago.
  5. Im in the same place as you. Instead of 3500rpm at 110k with a 4th gear of 1:1 diff 3.46:1, so im going for a diff ratio of 2.79:1 to suit my needs better. But i can seem to find the link to the website to buy new LSD clutch packs for US$65???? Can someone repost it. Im not looking forward to how much it will cost me for the swap.

    E30 Seats

I want some of those seats. It will save me having to get out of the car to set up. Do they come with a lighter pocket? I think the 2.25L will be too big for most. Maybe in the long term user model?
  7. going up the steap side of the bombays?

  10. the m30 is way more silky than the m20. Its still not a S14, but quote, its the ability to leave traffic at the stop sign in the dust. unquote. The best thing is that you have all that power you call upon, the split second you need it. not only is the engine heavier the autobox is also alittle heavier than the m20 one. I think my m30b35 + G225 is about if not lighter that a m20b25/7 + G260. Better fuel economy aswel. 6/7L per 100km using cruise control of the time. You can make your own engine mounts. it dont have a pic of mine. Medium difficulty engineering skills required. Its an awesome motor that makes a awesome car even better. Anybody doing a 2.7L build should do a 3.5 swap instead. More power for your buck. Plus the little things you do to the engine, have a more worth while result over smaller. If I were to do it again. I would modify the firewall so that you would remain the 50:50 weight split. Plus buying a supra with a 6speed in it. But who has one of those.???
  11. interesting to see the hot side of the engine, on the left hand side of the car.
  12. learn how to drive better. Use cruise control. And never worry about speeding again.
  13. i dont know those guys were on when they made that website.
  14. Early on Saturday a man died when he lost control of his car in bad weather, following an abandoned police chase in New Plymouth. Michael James Ellicock, 21, was driving a BMW 730I saloon which careered through a fence and crossed a stream before crashing into a tree on St Aubyn St at about 12.30am. Mr Ellicock's car was chased by police after he failed to stop following a minor accident. The chase lasted one minute before it was abandoned because of the speed of the fleeing car and the weather conditions. A short time later Mr Ellicock crashed, and police were alerted by a member of the public. The car had burst into flames and Mr Ellicock, who was alone in the car, was found dead at the scene. His body was so badly burnt police called in fingerprint experts to identify him. Mr Ellicock had recently moved to New Plymouth from Auckland, the Herald on Sunday reported. After this article showed, the news reporter quoted that police were attending more high speed crashes involving bmw's and that they are becoming popular with younger performance car enthusiasts. So will we have more of a chance of being pulled over because of these dicks? One thing for sure, that these stupid idiots have taking this long to cotton on to the fact that bmw are just as fast or faster than the japanese stable mates?

isn't there only motronic 1.1 (pre 87) and 1.3??? 1.1 has not got a o2 sensor, where the 1.3 has? the crank angle senors are in different places. so alittle splicing and soldering will be required for it to work
