i was under the impression that there are only 6 'V' shaped conrods in a V12. 2 piston heads to each conrod. or is that only on more high performance engines?

How similar are e30 2 door and 4 door headliners? My friend has a black 2 door headliner that i can have, but i want to put it in a 4 door. Going on a visual inspection, i think i would only have to trim the new headliner to fit a 4 door. sorry for the jacked thread.

if your oil temp in electric type. you can weld a nut ONTO the sump. NO hole needed. Then screw the sender unit into the nut. I have VDO guages and senders. oil pressure sender. I went down to ENZED Hose doctors and got them to weld up a brass T join, with the correct male and female threads on it. Cost me $25 Cash. So i could fit the factory sender and the VDO one, on the same hole. This bolted into the factory oil pressure place. I have an electric sender with buzzer unit.

depending on the ratio's is whether you want to change the diff's over. with the 5spd box's, you may want the lower ratio diff out of the two. to keep economy under control.

The guys in the states and canada seem to speak good things about them. Esp in the snow. As they were 4wd plus they were lighter than most of the 4wd options back then and now. I think it would be a mean nz rally car. eat up those gravel roads.

Steve is the man. Sherson Auto is one of the best i have come across. They have helped in my 5spd conversion on my black car, did all of the motor work and gave birth to the 335i. The old dude at one stop, would be one of the top 5 in tga.
