  1. I think so. With the nice wheels. He safe to buy a Jag off then? I might send somebody to check it out before I commit and go up to grab it
  2. I can vouch for this. It's great when selling an e36, which we all know like to throw their paint away at any oppoturnity. Looked brilliant afterwards. Also used it to keep my last bike as immaculate as ever. Awesome stuff
  3. Yeah the J gate is a bit saddening.I'm not too worried as I'm not keeping it for too long. I really do like the 3.6 motor for some reason though, which may well be what I will buy.
  4. Have found a nice one up in Hamilton in dark blue without the retarded metric wheels. No rust and a good interior, no known mechanical issues. Might buy it when the cheque from the BMW clears
  5. Hope all goes well dude. 24V ftw
  6. Sorry would only buy a 3.5 I've had two 525i's now. That's what I'm after. Do you know the car personally? I'll send them an email =D
  7. That's a great deal! I wish I could spare the money for something like that
  8. I'll PM you Have thought about them, but I'd rather a Jag. I have a few mates with them and they have never really impressed me much.Do great skids though
  9. I can't afford a decent tech 2.5.....Wouldn't own a "normal" e30.
  10. I'd do that, excpet mine has been re-upholstered and sold. Sick of it falling apart.
  11. I thought I was a nonce on my old 650......M5 sounded rather tasty!
  12. I don't think I'll get another e36 unless I go spend some real coin on a very speccy 2.8 coupe. I can deal with rust, I am a morris owner and a panel beater =P I want big and comfy. Without buying a lexus. Plus if all goes to plan I will be selling it at the end of the year anyway. Might have a quick browse at the e38's
  13. How much did you pay for that? I'm loving the red interior
  14. I'd have a 535i if it had full leather for the price. But, I want something big.And I've had two e34's already.
  15. I'm now on the hunt for a new car, as usual I can't make up my mind. I have started to go off the mx5 idea for the time being as I only want to spend 3-3.5k at the moment. I've got a few beasties in mind, e32 7 series XJ40 Jag, have a massive soft spot for them What else is worth looking at in that category? Don't want a fairlane ltd, too ugly and beige, same with a statesman.
  16. So, if I sold my Bmw and Morris collection......Hmmmm. Cold shower time
  17. I've driven the 5sgt, 5egt and quattro coupe, but not a Quattro turbo sadly. The 5cyl noise is to die for. A mate had an 85 5e in silver and we made a straight through with just a cooper muffler for it. Sounded amazing! I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a decent one, couldn't care less if it was a 5e or a 5s either. Although the 5e are nicer.
  18. Scott Miller. Bright green alcohol rail. Post up some videos of the 340i Crazyarab!!!!!!!!
  19. As below =P Yes, wear sunnies if that is the case and watch for the third orange to fade, then away you go. Our driver does this each time, if you freeze frame some of his videos you see the butterflies on top of the blower opening just before the light =D It helps that he has a low stall converter too.
  20. 80-100kg weight loss will usually give you 1/10th of a second, perfecting your launch and shifting is more likely to give you a result. Try being smooth off the line at first. What type of light set up are you using? Most of all have fun
  21. Seems to be like the twit I sold the E12 to. He had a F/L E12 with a "3.0 CSI' motor with a "hot cam". I had a peek, it was a dirty old manky rusty E12 [Mine was perfect in the body once I had finished] with a Carbied M30. Fail....
  22. Yeah, I saw some of old mate Hoffs collection back when he had his yellow 246 dino. I almost fell over!
  23. Well, I agree completely. The E36 has a great chassis but doesn't have anywhere near the grin factor of an mx-5. MX-5 it is then, I shall aquire one when the oppoturnity arises
  24. Neither of them are owned by Mr Hoffman as far as I have been told. Neil owns them from what he told me...and Trevor tells me too. Old mate Hoffman does however have quite an epic car collection, I went to school with his daughter [makes me nearly famous!] He does have a neat GT.350 or two....
