  1. You are right, I'm looking for an na6 version. Not nb or nc. Not modified either I would, but, I couldn't have a car that is that good looking and full of rotang puss. Fill it with a V8. Not wanting a 1.8 really just an early 1.6 and I will have to check for the crankshaft problem....
  2. See this car every time I travel to Pahiatua. It's about 10 min from my place and well worth the little drive. Absolutley faultless!
  3. Good point =P But, the E36 isn't really worth too much either. It's very tidy etc...but it's still only a 320i coupe
  4. Those wheels are decidedly different aren't they? Too bad if it's a girls car! I shall hand my man card in at admin if the e36 sells. Although I will most likely miss everything about it.....such a brilliant car to drive! I'm never having another e36 unless it also has tech suspension =D
  5. If I brought one it would be fairly stock. Which, is obviously a bit on the limp wristed side.
  6. I sold the E36 and brought an MX5? I've got several reasonable deals on mx-5's between 2.5 to 3.5k. Just the waiting game and selling the E36 is the limiting factor. I do like the 36 and am doing the interior trim some wonderful and needed repairs this week [Hood lining again and door trims.] But I wouldn't mind trading it for an MX-5. Is this O.K? After all I do have the whole Morris thing going on too.
  7. Come on chaps Contact me on 0272346507 it's a brilliant deal, but, I am all excited to get the new toy.
  8. BUMP! Price edit. be quick.
  9. My E36 is up for sale. 1994 Coupe, boston green in colour. 168xxxkm. Two new rear tyres for the last wof. Drives very nice and smooth, has a great gearbox for a jatco. Very straight body. No rips in the interior. The hood lining has started to sag yet again, due to the glue melting in the wonderful masterton sunlight. Car has option codes saying it has motorsport body and suspension. Feel free to ask for more information or for photo's. I am willing to drop the vehicle off in the lower north island. I now have a new car lined up, need the money and will take $2300, only really able to say that today though. Offer for the new car expires on thursday.

    E30 24V

    Keep driving it.....
  11. I love the 3.8 idea too, just not in an e34. Better off with a light car. Ecotec S/C makes less power and same torque as a 1uz and both need a new eprom or map to run a manual, what an effort! A Holden 253ci makes the same torue as both of them...as does an e46 m3 =P His speedo is in km's though....I know the car had a second hand motor thrown in at 200k, due to neglect. Like a decent chev? Cheap and more power/less wiring. Gutless motor in a car that size isn't it? A 535i would have it for breakfast, whilst being better on gas and usually with the sexy interior!
  12. Super tidy E30! I remember that Elan from the Targa. Beautiful little cars those, have always dreamed of owning one.
  13. I'm addicted to coffee. Very addicted
  14. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-279480744.htm I'm not sure what to think about this....Looks like a series one [early vn] motor, which had 121kw....waste of time don't you think? http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/C...n-278878592.htm Last time I saw this car it had just over 200km on the clock. Bit of a typo on the milage then? Can somebody ask him to correct this as my tardme account is on the blink.
  15. Is it possible to marry that e34? I love the idea!
  16. Have a mate down here wanting a cheap set of 17s or 18s for his E46. He wants ttem real soon and real cheap. Anything considered, PM me. Thanks guys.
  17. I would own one to travelin. Live in, bathe in and put a full size pub in it. Would be the perfect mobile heaven.
  18. Haha Sounds like some prime brittish engineering! Cheers dude
  19. I did the belt and pump on a 4age blue top over the weekend. Piss easy job. Had a few rangi mods on her though. Extractors and no O2 sensor. Pod filter with the whole hot air sucking job and the ambient temp sensor cable tied up near the pcv....Wrong belt covers too. Bunch of twits.
  20. Are they TR968? I'm quite interested in how they perform
  21. I had to use the benefit at one stage. Was meant to be on the invalids, but, they would not pass it. Not that a broken pelvis, 8 fractured ribs, a broken sternum and sciatica is serious. Bunch of plonkers. I had to keep working as soon as physically possible, only to have long term injuries because I couldn't afford to recover
