Does bmw and audi have some sort of grudge match going on, as to who can make the most different model rages that all look the same?? Why not concentrate on making a handful of REALLY GOOD models instead of creating all these sub/hybrid style's of cars no one really needs? imho If you want a sporty 2 door rear wheel drive BMW just buy a 1M? or Z4? or M3? surely thats enough choice

Spotted a white E34 (or close to) 5 series at the top of Abbotts way this morning with huge (and i mean HUGE), amounts of white/blue smoke coming out of the exhaust, i thought the bush out the back of Ellerslie race course was on fire untill i spotted the car haha. Probably head gasket??

I would TOTALLY believe this, being a mechanic/foreman (Solely on Porsches) i see cheap Chinese wheel breaking and cracking all the time from people knocking on curbs with parking etc, would hate to think what would happen if they hit a pot hole at 150kph probably end up like the above picture. We even had a brand 22 inch Cayenne wheel going flat from brand new and tried two different tyres on it and it was still doing it. Turns out the rim was PORUS and leaking air though the metal wtf! although I am very hypocritical in all these statements as the E30 i brought has fake wheels haha

Also ask if the tappets have been set recently as tight/ or loose tappets can cause a bad idle

ring stocks http://www.georgestock.co.nz/Stocks/default.asp and ask for some E30 superlow's by king springs will get the rear wheel slightly tucked etc and are pretty dam reasonable price aswell, just dont expect amazing handling. Took my one round taupo track 3 in the weekend with the king spring set up and the best way to describe it going around a corner was by comparing it to a water bed haha. But it does ride nice when cruising not crashy at all.
