So!! They're finally done!!! Well, almost. Got all 136 gold spikes bolted, torqued, and lock tited up last night after spending the week painting the inside of the barrels. Just need to figure out what tyre sizes I can run and to glue the polished stainless caps onto the centre caps Then to start on the style 40's

So got a call from the missus on Thursday and said the car wasn't running right and could hardly get up the hill. Went to go down to see her and it was thinking it was a Quattro and it had dropped a cylinder again. So managed to get it home alrght, was only about a Kay away but all uphil so was a slow trip. So as it has already done about 6 month before it has sh*t the no.6 coil. So again, the m3 gets robbed for parts. For a car that's newer, more technically advanced, and has less kays ( haven't even owned for a year yet) than all the e36s/e30s I've owned this has had to be the least reliable car I have ever owned!

As title, after finally getting my staggered 18" style 5s bolted all back together I decided to out an led ribbon strip inside it and looks pretty cool and want to turn one into a light fitting, for my dining room. So... Anyone got one?? Any size, any condition as long as the front isn't too damaged

Yea Makita do, seen a few builders on site using them. And I'd say Milwaukee will do too. I have a 18v battery one and goes pretty good, and a 12v, and a ratchet, and most of the catalogue actually

Seems weird that a new clutch is slipping??? Take it it was a kit with new pressure plate and was flywheel resurfaced? Maybe he just can't drive manual hahaha -
All these e36 m3s seem to be popping up everywhere! Looks like a good example. Very nice e28 too. Welcome

So that's why I thought I saw an m3 badge on it yesterday morning. Naughty naughty! -
Need 10 clips and grommets, and 6 of the push on ones

Shows up bottom of cowl page

As per title, have all this for sale Mirrors are genuine, not reps, drivers glass has been replaced so not heated and has a mark behind it, ideally needs replaced but fine as is, $250 Clear indicators are depo brand and basically new, $50 Coilovers are super low on highest setting, think one is leaking but are just inserts so probably best to replace with longer shocks so not as low. Have brand new camber plates, $300

Looks good to me, better get new caps, clips, grommets and seals too
-

Probably passenger seat ocupancy sensor. Mine would only come on when someone was in the seat so replaced sensor pad and good as gold. Get it scanned properly to see if that is it or Buy one of those resistor fitted plugs off trademe to see if that fixs it to get you a wof if you don't have time to fit a new pad. Are about $250 from miland

Nice! I decided against going the turbo route, can't maintain an m3 and do a turbo build haha!

So me, Tyler-pldubs and sanch-antil33t took old boaty, the e36 325i that was ment to be a donor for the wagon, to winton with a car trailer to transport a e30 325i back home as out new project together. Then carried on into invercagill to pick up a m20 and manual box, motor went in the back seat of the e30. Had to remove door for it to fit, box in its boot. Oh and then a bmx that went in the front of the e30. T'was an interesting day to say the least with road side guard rolling with a proper roller, and then a switch from fronts to backs as I put the style 5s off the m3 with 225s and 245s as the 245s were starting to run out of side wall on the rear. Highlights of the trip, when we had to slow down going up a hill in a passing lane as the car trying to pass got up to the front of our car and couldn't go any faster to get past and holding up traffic even tho we were pulling close to 2ton! Vanos kicked in hahahaha Then when we got home replaced diaphragm springs and plates as part of the vanos repair on the m3, and beisan rattle repair on shafts aswell. Just waiting on the replacement seal to show up this week for exhaust side then ready to go back together!
