E36 Factory look bluetooth GUIDE
handgrenade replied to handgrenade's topic in Audio & In Car Entertainment
Thanks, not too sure because I don't have any iPod products .. but I don't think it does .. when Neil used his iPhone on his set up it didn't but he was accessing it using bluetooth instead of the cable .. I doubt that it would .. but I think you can switch playlists using the disc option buttons and tracks with the track buttons. bit of a bummer, when I did listen to the radio, the business RDS radio will show tracks that they are playing ! -
Installed a CD43 into my E36 along with an Anycar Link for bluetooth music and handsfree calling by routing a mic to the centre vent.

Yep strong for Honda!

I spoke to Ray at HellBM and his advice was .. ignore the kms and drive it. If you know cars, like cars, owned a few cars, you can gauge if a car is solid or not. A car with 100kms can be more of a risk than one with 300kms. It all depends on maintenance. Properly serviced engines will run almost forever. At a previous job at a Honda wreckers it was tradition at Christmas to run an engine to death. It was a 1.5L sohc Honda engine and we just kept it at redline for half an hour. When it didn't pop, we drained the oil out and ran it dry for another 15 mins at redline before it finally gave up. If the engine has been well maintained then its just suspension which you need to look at. Bushings everywhere, shocks brakes etc Then there is the paint and interior. If they check out then high kms isn't an automatic dismissal.

Depends on the service history .. mine just ticked over 280k but had full service history thru BMW since nz new

haha Richard, I went and saw Neil today and checked out his car .. its immaculate! very nice guy and spent lots of money to restore the car to its former glory. suspensions all been redone, vanos all done, interior etc. great example. after all the attention hes getting, hes thinking of keeping it! haha -
i went and saw the owner today, super nice guy, maintained the car really well .. spent a lot of cash taking the car and bringing it up to factory goodness .. its looking beautiful now, vanos all replaced .. smooth as ever. interior and exterior all mint.

Is he on the forums? -
I have all the professional photography equipment required. The only thing I dont have are remote flashes and an adaptor if we wanted to create some decent lighting. I only have a 380ex camera mounted flash, or perhaps I can borrow a single 580ex flash. if you want to make this legit, we would want a few remote flashes and some decent reflectors .. but even with the on camera flashes, it should be alright .. if it is in the daytime, we'll be fine.
