I quit smoking at the beginning of last year after smoking since I was 14. Lol it was the hardest thing I ever had to do. I haven't touched a cigarette since and have no desire to. Going cold turkey is the best way to do it. All of this cutting down and then completely phasing it out did not work for me but everyone is different. I don't mind smokers but to each their own. I chose to quit for gym reasons. Cardio vascular fitness was lacking and I definitely felt the difference after quitting. I support anyone who tries to quit. Big thumbs up

Hi all. I posted a thread on my wheels in the wheels and tyres category a couple weeks ago but here we have my 328ci coupe. I bought her at 120 ks a year and a bit ago with a blown head gasket from one of my clients. Turns out the viscous fan had stopped working. Fully rebuilt the engine and she's been running like a dream ever since. Now I am getting so bored with the automatic/tiptronic transmission so my intention is to do a manual conversion at some point this year. Any tips or pointers would be really helpful as I haven't done a manual conversion on an e46 before. I dont think they are including the torque converter. It should be around 12 litres all up.

What car is the oil going in? trans holds 8 litres and torque converter around 4. When I did my flush it took around 12 litres. I flushed the torque converter also and put a new filter in. Worth doing. I used full synthetic oil also in my trans. I have a 328ci with a GM trans

That above pump you just showed me will do the trick. Just make sure the ends are nice and secure..doesn't have to be fancy. It just has to do its job

In my teenage years I used to own a Honda Integra Type R. The same thing happened to me but I kind of spent like 20k on the car including motor work. Never got it back from insurance though in form of payment. They paid me what the car was worth at the time. 13 k. It sucks that this happens. At that point it was right outside the Naval Base in Devonport and apparently the guards didn't see a thing. First car in view and they didnt notice. That taught me that things like that do happen in this country. Second lesson learnt was my Version 9 WRX. was a bit more lucky with that one. They found it with a busted ignition and door lock. Since then I have been more on guard and aware of where I park and leave my vehicle

Then it gets jacked, then the house of the owner also gets done over. Ive had relatives in Port Shepstone be murdered by guys coming through their roof with machine guns the day after their car was hijacked. Its ridiculous aye
