Funny you say that, when I was there today a Merc mechanic came from down the road to pick up a c class couple of years old these guys had been working on, he said they do all their AC work ex the Merc Hamilton dealer

Yeah I'm not looking forward to the first M62 coolant leak, bound to happen sometime, just glad not yet. They sound a dog to fully fix

OK, so all my worst fares of coolant leaking where in vain, seems the recharged AC found its leak and popped an o ring at the fire wall, and the dye in it to see the ring was green, same colour as coolant though Have to say I'm happy for that. Off to the air con guys who are keeping it overnight to fix and diagnose the pressure build up issue then recharge, really can't have a DD without AC

Correct, likely not installed standard, most weren't. As Milan check your build sheet at BMWVIN.com Added Bluetooth to ours it was a hefty $1600 for that alone, then radio and nav on top to convert from Jap version

Right, home after the meet with the day off to do the lawns, raining, OK so I'll polish the E39 then ready it for full daily duty. 4 hours later after clay, polish and wax, still got some swirls but much improved and at least protected. Looks a lot sharper and the colour is starting to pop, might have to OCD it to get a really good finish, em ... Drive out of the garage for a couple of pics and after taking these get rewarded with a pile of steam gorging out from under the bonnet, oh well looks like I know have the after noon covered checking it out. Initial small pile of green fluid sprayed onto left bank exhaust manifold. Run OBD reader and temp is solid, may be window cleaner line? Will let it cool down and check further .... TBC.

OK so got home from the ECC meet today, great to catch up with you guys and meet some new people. Even fluked having Dave in convoy to Hamilton, E3 style Had ordered a 2 degrees sim card to play around with and try and get the phone setup sorted, so it had arrived and out to the car. Popped the full size credit card in and low and behold it fires up, registers and works! Thought I'd have to make a template to positon it right etc but nope perfect first time. So now my retro phone works sweet and is hands free option as well. Man you got to love 90s tech Big shout out to Carfolie as well for the sweet tint job I got on Friday while up, very happy with the look. Will post some pics tomorrow for those not at the ECC meet
