I doubt it. I did a M52 swap into an E36 compact. It cost me around 500-600 because I found a wrecked donor cheap and did all the work myself. The car was already manual, etc with little needing doing. If you need a manual setup budget 3k+, clutch 1.5k, M52 500-1000 depending. Replace buggered hoses and gaskets, ECU remap, freshen gearbox linkages, gilbo, radiator, brakes and swaybar upgrade etc. That's without labour which is possibly the most expensive part?

I saw offers of 25k etc. What were the low ball offers? I expect higher km non-evo cars will be driven not collected so value is significantly less.

It started with the silver LHD coupe, then others started thinking "well mines gotta be worth that too". First the blue SMG coupe, then the red vert, and now the violet vert. None of these cars however, have sold at these prices. Infact two have sold under 30k recently (25k black coupe, <$27k silver coupe) albeit not as low kms

I've found a satisfying pastime. Go on Google reviews and find car parking companies who have incorrectly given you a ticket, then taken 3 months to tell you 'they aren't taking the matter further' without hint of an apology after you've written a letter, filled out their dispute forms, scanned bank statements, signed your privacy away, etc... 1 star.

Feedback, address verification, a disputes process and disabling of accounts. TM email confirming no response from seller was also helpful in bringing a prosecution and they passed bank details to the police to allow the person to be located.

The E82 are a great looking car. I would go N55 for sure and DCT over slush box, seeing as your chances of finding a manual are slim. Try and avoid the later ones with the clown sized door mirrors.
