Before going to the expense of regassing, try cleaning and/or replacing the AC air filter...i had the same trouble with my AC so checked my filter and it was full of dust and dirt. Works 10x better now.

Does your Insurance do free windscreen replacements? AA repairs all chips at no cost...got mine done a few months back!!

Yeah i noticed the sweeping generalisation part after i posted but it's kind of what i meant...I think what i was trying to get across is that this a resonably conservative forum and that most (if not all) would agree that these are ugly looking cars...though can guarantee you on other forums around the world and probably NZ others will be creaming themselves over these In the US i have been to SEMA and NAIS and i think it was called the Southern Califonia Auto show in San Fran...and all those shows had various types of cars similar to those Bimmers....mind you could miss them with everything else going on...but def there! I could almost guarantee you, there will be some chop shopped mustangs at that show you go too...that look just as non conventional as those Bimmers.

You guys really need to get out of NZ and see some real cars...the cars in those pics (even though personally, not my style) are HUGE in the US and Japan, even in Germany and Europe the big style right now is riced up Euros!! That yellow one's grills look like it may of come of a later model Jag and those other 2 would not be so bad with less blinging rims and a more subtle paint job, though thats my opinion...everyones entitled to do whatever they want with their car!

I guess it all depends on whether you want original M/schnitzer or replica kits...from looking around i have seen full body kits up too about 4k and then i bought a 2nd hand M replica bumper for 250 slides

Dont apologise man, i have been exactly in yours and duckeaters shoes but with an old Subaru...that i put a lot of time and money in and loved it though $$ wise i should have just upgraded...but wouldn't change a thing! And i agree i love the e36 and actually e30 sedan shape...
