  1. Sort of took my eye off it thinking anything under $16/17k was dreaming. I can get behind a buyers market after the 2021/22 boom years haha
  2. This seams reasonable considering prices of other listings, if it’s really as good as the photographs.
  3. So it has been slow today, and I like lists... M: E30 M3 E46 M3 CSL E26 M1 E28 M5 E39 M5 E36 M3 E12 M535i E24 M635CSi E34 M5 AC Schnitzer: Not for me. Alpina (some great pre-M era cars): 1600-2 Alpina Alpina A4S (2002) Alpina B7S Turbo (E12) Alpina C1 2.3 (E21) Alpina B3 2.7 Touring (E30) 1802 Alpina Alpina B10 V8 S (E39) Alpina B10 3.0 Touring (E34) Hartge: H35-24 (E30) 335i (E21) Hartge M5 (E28) H6SP (E24) 3.5 M3 Evo (E36) H5S (E34) Combined (one model code): BMW E30 M3 BMW E46 M3 CSL Alpina 1600-2 Alpina A4S (2002) Hartge 335i (E21) Alpina B7S Turbo (E12) Hartge M5 (E28) Hartge 3.5 M3 Evo (E36) Hartge H5S (E34) BMW E26 M1 Hartge H6SP (E24) Alpina B10 V8 S (E39) ... or something like that.
  4. This seems like something to tackle on the next slow workday. Would any AC Schnitzer, Alpina or Hartge cars make their way into anyone's lists?
  5. I know what you mean @Goose, I think we all have cars we regret selling. I would have kept most of the cars I've had if I had the space and didn't need to sell one to buy another. They are great cars, and that's a nice looking E24.
  6. Six months of trouble free daily driving. Grabbed a coffee with @nath and his B3 yesterday. Only Alpina I’ve seen in NZ since leaving the UK almost ten years ago, worth the wait.
  7. That show is so good. How painful is it looking at old advertisement prices?!
  8. Hi Warren, how did / are you getting on with this? 👀
  9. "The E30 reigns supreme in my heart always." Me too brother, if you need anyone to take care of her while you're in the UK... I'm selfless like that 🤣
  10. Still dailying that 36. The ‘daily’ been parked up ha
  11. Going to have to pop over and see her @BMTHUG!
  12. I’m back home in the UK at the moment and this is for sale near my dads work: Laguna Green, factory manual, sports seats, smileys, factory load cover with dog guard, service history, taxed and MOT’d so drive it home for £4500 (just over $9000).
  13. Speaking of projects, eighteen months on from this: We have this: Admittedly spent more time on the hole in the side of our house than on cars, but we’re back. Have more space and *slightly* more time. Sam at @HELLBM has taken care of the oil leak that came free with the car, great service. Up next, the cooling system, and then hopefully some fun stuff like suspension.
  14. Turns out the previous owners mechanic had misdiagnosed where the oil was leaking from, and I should know better than to take their word for it but struggling to get under there myself at the moment unfortunately! Took the car to Sam at @HELLBM, who I can’t recommend enough. Transmission got a bit of a birthday since we’d already ordered the parts, and no more oil leak. Chalk it up as a win.
  15. Cheers! Hoping for more of the sunny soon brother!
  16. Musings from the first month, I like this car. A lot of time for the wing mirrors! The E30 and E46 has always had my attention but the E36 is growing on me. Generally speaking, I’ve never owned a convertible or planned to own one but I think the E36 lends itself better to the body style imo. Clocked someone in another E36 waving on the drive through Kumeū if you’re on here, car looked well.
  17. I was lurking around Porana Road looking for you a few weeks ago, glad to hear you're back doing what you love brother.

    Mo

Not finishing Mo haunts my dreams 👻
  19. I bought a Honda Super Cub described as 'rear' (rare) once. They only built 100+ million of them (and continue to build them).
