i had a mate killed walking home from the jolly farmer.he was drunk and doing the right thing.got taken out by another drunk driver.not good. back 10-15 yrs ago my friends and i never really got onto the piss.probably cause the price of gas took most of our pay back then. that and we were always trying to get our old skool corollas and lancers etc to go as fast as poss. mind you how are you younger guys paying of gas and piss at the moment?? 5c worth.marty

best thing i've seen a few months back was and still is; guys cutting the centre out of the front bumper and buying the biggest intercool off trademe and sticking it in there. COOL. engine is still N/A. probably got the PHEEEEFT noises dubbed onto tape to play back when 'dragging' off their mates. now that i have a snail under the bonnet i do feel like i'm 18 again.i love the whistle of the fins winding up.and the bov doing its thing.its gonna take awhile before i growup .that or a large object getting in my way

All Season vs Summer tyres (Falken ZE-329 vs Dunlop Direzza DZ101)
topcat replied to Yuen's topic in Wheels & Tyres
would you guys reckon any of these tyres are up to the challenge to keep my car on the road? really need to do something.with the rain we just had, almost lost it a few times.not to mention the few times i did. pants are at dry cleaners. next on the to do list; weaker wastegate spring cheers marty -
if you cant locate the leak, remove thermostate from the housing.that way it wont get hot and it keeps the water pressure down.cheap, short term fix
-
gates a 38mm. the guru in the states reckon's that good enough flow up to 400hp. he informed me that going too large will release too much gass, causing more boost spikes and uneven boost curve.

ecu install was done at 'speed source' up in warkworth. EMS system

Just got the car back from tuners. rough tune stage. got a number of kinks to iron out before fine tuneing. great to drive, almost violent. had bought a wastegate with a 0.5 bar spring.turns out its a 15 pound sucker. runs super rich and managed to 254 kw at the wheel on the dyno. i dnt know how its supposed to feel like on the road, but after sum 'testing' tonight is it brutal from 3500 all the way to 6.pinged occationally, and had a few great backfires.lovely

Plumbing??? what plumbing? cant be easier. mount the 25mm thick radiator infront of the aircon.possibly without removing the fan.you are running a e34? plant the water/air unit anywhere there is space and buy sum cheap garden hose.and a small pump. or cut a 3" or so hole though everything and paying large $$ for silican elbos and bends etc. but each to there own

all a good sale needs is someone with the money and a desire to have what you have to sell. sometimes you need to get the kids into the candy shop before they start buying.
