I had a problem similar to this. It turned out being that one of the bolts that holds the trans crossmember in had come out and it was the crossmember banging against the chassis that was making the noise. Id advise you to just get under the car and look at any bolts that mount your driveline. As Will said. Id check the hanger bearing rubber. This tears quite easily and also will make a knocking noise.

haha never mind dude. Just the way you said it would be MEAN if it had a box. It looks like the conversion is pretty sh*t, motor looks like it would blow on startup. Would need alot of work to be a MEAN car Just another case of 'Chuck a rotor in your bma eahh

just need to know if the handbrake cables are the same between drum and disc'd rear e30's. my disc'd subframe was sitting under the shed and my grandparents and their f**kin lawnmower man caught the handbrake cable in the mower!! It f**ked now so ill need a new one if the drum one dont fit. Also one other brake line peice i need. I think its the LHS metal line between the brake itself and the rubber brake hose. I munted mine taking it off. God damn!
