  1. Are they not warrantied against peeling/bubbling etc? I suppose different places will have different policies.
  2. I'm looking at getting an SMG II E46, is the VANOS bolt problem in all cars or just some? And can it actually be remedied or is it a matter of always checking
  3. Ah mate. Was that you? Fairly sure I saw a mint E39 come past me around the pedestrian crossings by the lakes.

They're pretty over done but I love the staged dish on BBS LMs.

Looks tidy mate. Tank farm is a great photo shoot location.
  6. Sorry mate. Be keen to see how yours turns out!
  7. Decided against dipping the 911s wheels as I saw another with black turbo twists and didn't think it looked very good.

Stay strong Brian. You've got the whole forum behind you, mate!
  9. Thanks mate. Appreciate the positive feedback. E90
  10. I've got an aftermarket exhaust set up in my E39 Msport 530i currently. It's unfortunately time for the car to move on so I'm reinstalling the factory set-up. I'd be interested in selling it if you're interested. You can hear it first if you want. PM me if you're interested. The 3l straight six gets a fantastic engine note when it's not muffled by the two massive boxes that come factory.
  11. Yep same stuff. I re-did one of my wheels. Peels off easy as - If it doesn't peel yours haven't been dipped @Rusteee
  12. Hi guys My girlfriend's car has been used at the beach a lot over the past few years and subsequently has sunscreen handprints around the windows and doors. I've tried clay barring it but that didn't work. Any other suggestions or does it need professional attention? Thanks Tristan
  13. Subscribed with interest. Cool project
  14. Whilst dipyourcar is partially correct for a really "perfect looking" rim, then that's the case (they are also a profit orientated business though). When I did one of my wing mirrors, I walked past it when it was wet and f**ked up the bottom of it with my t shirt, I just cleaned the area a bit, started working on that particular spot, it looks pretty much normal aside from a small seam (which I could probably get rid of with another layer, but its on the underside of the mirror so I don't really care) I haven't actually gotten around to touching it up yet. I'm currently in Utah but I'll have more time when I'm home, hopefully before uni summer school starts...
  15. Ah, I see. I'll have a look around other retailers. A side note, I did my Macbook pro top in Black - Looks awesome, especially with the glowing "apple" when it's open. I also did my kidney grilles. It's standing up better than the paint did.
  16. No, they are not. $100+ fine & 25 demerits. They also confiscate and destroy the plates.
