What was with that guy dtm400 asking the odd questions in a somewhat questionable tone, surely anyone serious would just call the guy and go see the car?? Weird.
-
That grille is really not working for the front end imo.
-
Whoops. Any idea if it's the rear gasket or input/output seals? So you don't feel left out, you'll be pleased to know my sump is leaking. What fun oil leaks are!

I must say, I'm really liking the new format after using it for a while! Good job guys.
-
Thanks again for the parts today Ray, you're a life saver!

Cheers lads. Heh yeah there sure is some good pull. But certainly plenty more potential is if some coin was put into the engine... My goal is for a nice mild NA setup, 185-200rwkw would be the ideal power range so I'm keen to see what it's doing currently with a stock engine and ecu (other than headers/intake tweaks) is putting out on the dyno day next weekend.

While not a drive by clip I did record this the other day, had the digital camera in the car / was going on the motorway.

Thank you Darin! Haha, thanks Sam, glad you liked the sound of it, though it's not as loud as your M50'ed E30! Cheers, oddly enough when the E36 + 1UZ idea popped into my head January 2010 the whole goal was to have the audi RS4 mufflers setup in a true dual configuration etc, it's turned out as good as I hoped, if not better. I'll have to get a clip at some stage! Thanks Justin, yeah I probably over planned somethings so it took longer than expected, but it made it more fun and left me with heaps of docs to make it easier if I wanted to repeat the build again in another E36 in a cheaper, quicker time frame. +1 on the clip, I might get one tomorrow if the weather is good.

Did you design that house Ryan? it looks like you did haha. Cars looking sweet.
-
Bugger! It's a nice car, pretty tidy for 168,000kms One owner, fully service history. Keeps up with the V8
-
Excellent work Justin, it's a good feeling to know the work you've done has paid off!
-
Heh like this, Matt finish slightly darker hue.. although the texture is hard to achieve.
-
Little test with the ECU running in it's soft mode, with a few tweaks it can run harder but wheel spins easier. Never the less seems to get up to 100 in around 6 seconds.

Didn't consider the Ferrari red found on their cam covers etc?
-
Took it for a drive earlier and caught up with my mate and his new 330ci clubsport

A stopped E92 M3 V8 on a single lane on the middle of the Harbor bridge with a 200 meter+ cue behind it!! Some car further ahead was also stopped and a guy was walking down the road behind it! Wtf happened there I wonder... further more anyone here?
-
Still just as ugly!
-
Good work mate, looks MUCH better!!
-
That will look great sitting on those basketweaves! Well done with the block work to get the wheel in the right position for the picture too, haha.

I went past a 355 Spider tonight, similar vintage to these. Best looking Ferrari's IMO, the stuff they make now days is somewhat unimpressive. -
Nice work Justin! Those rear 1/4 window seal replacements make a good deal of difference, I bought new seals but haven't bothered to replace them, this just might motivate me. haha.

Awesome, your work looks to be exceptional. Pictures are really good too!
