  1. "Unfortunately, it's not a prototype for a coming production car" Ummmm more like fortunately! That thing is hideous.
  2. Indeed, I was waiting for someone to bring this up. Also, most performance cars with 'drilled' discs actually have in fact cast disks with holes in them, by being cast they resist cracking.
  3. Depends what your requirements are. Driving in town only? Driving on the open road often? or Driving on a track, hammering at the brakes on ever corner... Really you have to factor in what is best for your use, otherwise you'll probably just over spend. I don't see why factory disks and factory pads, or maybe a slightly better reputable aftermarket set of pads wont do, especially on a standard 328i auto if you're just using it on the road daily, at least it will be reliable etc. For the size of the E36 and the power, the stock brakes are more than adequate. Probably a good idea to get the most out of the brakes is upgrade the lines to higher performance steel braided ones, that should help loose some of the softness.
  4. Turned out to be a car worth saving!

    M3 Shoot

Cool, an M3 full OBC. What a great range. But ahh.... thats right aren't 740is more economical than a E36 M3? It makes sense a E38 V8 would be better on gas since it weighs 400kg more and has another 1.2 litres AND 2 cylinders to pump. Based on that they must get +1032km range I would say.
  6. You would be looking at just a bit less than 2k for a manual conversion. Worth it. Oh and while you're at, have a larger M50 intake runner fitted on your M52B25, it will make it more enjoyable to rev out to the limit.
  7. Welcome, that is a stunning car you have there!

    Japan shake up.

Unbelievable. Ships on their sides tossed inland! That alone explains how horrendous the wave(s) would have been...

    My E39 540i

Bit like that piece from Top Gear. Hope you didn't drive in the low tide though!
  10. A mint standard E34, 1996 540i in Silver. Parked off Wiri station road. WANT!
  11. As per requested. General Measurements of the muffler.
  12. Close to the value of the car 6-7k+
  13. Ooo tempting. I replaced my RTAB recently and was surprised at the rather large gaps left between the bush and the housing. Seems to promote a fair bit of play... How many sets do you have?

    E36 M3 Sedan

Mmm very nice, your car gets the thumbs up from me!
  15. Welcome! Is it a Hartge 540i? or a less sporty model?
  16. Hah, well iff you have your rear tire well removed and replace with a flate piece of steel... much like the E36 M Coupes have it will. Yeah I haven't listed it for a couple of weeks, thought about keeping it but meh.... I will still probably hang on to it given theres not that much interest... I shall see..
