  1. I got this impression too. I've passed with out spares in the past.

A pitty you're not selling this in early November, as I'm looking for something like this in that month, Inline six 3-4 litre sedan, large and cruisey, early 90's... Other cars I'm considering are bland early 90s Falcons and Commodores!

Looks like a nice example. Are you in any rush to sell?
  4. I don't see the appeal of those drifting Jap cars. Rather see a cool car doing it.
  5. Sounds good James Do post picture up of your new machine!
  6. No pictures up just yet James, will have a build thread of the whole procedure very soon. Car as always is looking awesome Josh. That is EXACTLY how I want my next E36 Coupe to look, in a similar Silver - Gray colour or the traditional M3 blue.
  7. Far out, what an annoying ordeal, hope its over and done with!!!
  8. Hmmmm about 6k or so would be what it would cost to do most conversions. Depends on what gearbox you run as that can alter costs by a few grand... Also factor in upgrading the drive shaft/diff/axles if your going from a low powered engine to a considerably more powerful one... If you go for a stock BMW M52 then it would be bolt up, non BMW motors is where the cost would jump due to custom fabrication which I have found with my V8 conversion. Will end up being about 7k at least just for the conversion cost. All worth it of course.
  9. It's all about care and condition... I would expect 300-400k out of the stock engine... but you never know. If your engine does go, maybe ideal to upgrade to a M52B28? Just saying..
  10. Is that car in your signature actually yours? Or is that just a sample picture? Confused as the Image URL is from www.ecarlist.com some kind of American dealer website... Just saying
  11. Cut & reduce the size of the rear tire well, then put an M5 rear exhaust setup on it, best way to do it. Then get one of those M5 puncture repair kits since you wont have a spare.
  12. As someone said before, it was a no brainer what was the superior car. Can't really go wrong with an E46, specially with a decently sized engine.
  13. The more I look at this, the more I like it...
  14. I feel this should be playing in the background
  15. Removing the ruined headlining... Damn thing. Also did some more work on the headers for this project. Getting there! .
  16. Oh my god, I just read this thread... Didn't quite realize it had gotten so out of hand!
  17. That GSR is a joke, looks like a right mess. My mate has a stock immaculate white GSR Evo 2, totally mint. Fantastic car, and very rare, but you have to pay for it like he did. Just get a 328i, you can find one in decent condition at least .
  18. I love the E36s, but they are somewhat lacking in safety. But then again, they are a late 80s early 90s design, and rather a small car. You could do far worse.
