100% agree! You are the only person whom you need to satisfy. Its actually a waste of time asking other people about such things, as we each are aligned with our own choices and this influences objectivity. Anyway - other's choices (different to our own) are great - they give us all something to laugh uncontrollably at!

I remember that photo, but I can't find it here. It was sorta like this, but full corner, wasn't it?
-
Good vdo, but you have to wonder how old he thinks he is.... Tiff - you're waaaay past 18yo, mate!! Time to grow up.
-
Do they have any for real 5'ers, or just that old crap? How's the dragger, sparkle?
-
localdevdas, I'd buy that car - love it! Normally I steer right away from black cars, but that one :thumb:
-
LOL - I think I have it worked out now mate, thanks. 'perf BMW' means Performance BMW magazine, right? That was the part which confused me. :drunk: I'm well used to people using the term 'gay' incorrectly, now :gay:
-
I don't claim to understand much of that. In what way is 'perf BMW' gay?
-
Wheels - very nice indeed to my taste Chrome grill - not to my taste (looks too much like a Rover or Honda) Grey kit bits - not to my taste (I'd have them matching the body) Metal pedals - waaay not to my taste Grey leather seats - definitely to my taste (I prefer grey over black any day) But that's just my opinion and its not my car, so who cares?
-
That's your opinion, mine is: all rugby sucks!
-
Drunken thugby louts with handbags! What the hell next?
-
My opinion is easy re fogs: Do what you want to - it surely will not bother me - I've got enough going on in my life without worrying about the way you/others choose to drive.

A Daytona 'vert? Really? Way too old for me, but I suppose it was cool in the day: LOL - yes, I know you meant the Ferrari, but what's life without some fun!
-
Yes, it seems like just too much pissing around for me to worry about it. Truth is I don't actually need it, it just sounded like a cool thing to have if it was easily available. Most times I don't even have the stereo on while I drive. When I listen to music it is almost always on my PC, so mp3 is my usual way of hearing music. As far as reproduction quality goes, yes I can hear a clear difference between CD and mp3s at home, but I agree, in the car, with road noise, talking etc, the difference is harder to hear and really, the quality isn't important to me. The standard BMW 10 speaker stereo is certainly good enough for my ears. Thanks, all.

I've thought about taking a Z4 home, but I know what would happen - my wife would just laugh at me, mention something about sad male menopause and tell me to take it back...
-
OK - confused now. Where's Jochen?
-
I have a 1996 car and my stacker won't read mp3's. Would a changer from a newer car read them, or is this more a function of the whole radio?
-
I've never seen a Z8 in the flesh, so I'm not qualified to pass judgement on one, but to me, they look nice in the pix, but a bit too 'old fashioned' for my tastes. I'm no fan of old cars.
-
Yes, nice!!
-
That's a good comment - most 'verts just look silly with the hood up.
-
Forgetting other marques, (and price not being a factor) which BMW 'vert does it for you most? For me, I always liked the E30, but the E46 looks delicious too and has superceded the E30 in so many desirable ways. I've never been a Z3 fan, although the Z4 does appeal. I've never seen a Z8. However, for my tastes (and we're all different), a 645 'vert is about as nice as it gets.

Yet they sell well and appeal to a wide audience. If I was going into business in the coffee market, I'd be targetting the widest possible client base demographics, after all, I'd be wanting to make money, not satisfy the low percentage of 'real' coffee afficianados.
