  1. Up for sale as I have other priorities and our driveway is overflowing! BS Discount applies, ask if you want to know. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=578214549
  2. It was me, just sold it this evening.
  3. Awesome man congratulations, i've spent a bit of time in the new 3 touring now and its an awesome machine you'll love it!! Also, they arent rim protectors, they have a red stripe around the wheels. they're 20" and a $7k option !! Enjoy!!
  4. E53's are a bit crap these days, get an E70 if you can, the E53 auto gearboxes all crap out evenutally if towing and they dont tow anywhere near as nice as an E70 which weights a bit more and rides better. Sportpack rides a bit hard on NZ roads, but depends on your preference of comfort vs handling. V8 or diesel will tow fine, despite what '3 pedals' says 2.2 tons on the back is fine and within legal limits, diesel will be cheaper to run no doubt but more expensive to buy, and good luck finding a manual they arent that great to drive either.
  5. they have the usual N4x series oil leaks, but apart from that they are good. I'd get a diesel personally, much better power and better economy obviously. M sport looks much nicer but alot of imports have M sport suspension which is so hard it can make you feel ill on a bad road.... i've driven tons and tons of 1 series for work and thats my findings anyway.
  6. It's priced to sell, I'm happy to put it on a transporter at buyers cost if a South Island buyer is interested.
  7. 2001 528i Touring, NZ New, 195k's Cosmos black metallic with black leather. BMW service history Original 17" BBS Style 5 2 piece wheels ( EDIT, ILL BE KEEPING THESE, AND IT WILL COME ON ORIGINAL ALLOYS) BMW towbar Factory shadowline Air con works perfectly Dice Ipod interface Tints Cruise control Self levelling rear suspension with near new rear bags Full set of new tyres Just had full service by BMW, new ABS ctrl unit, new breather vent pipes, new throttle body boot, new drivebelts, new power steer hose, transmission service etc, lots of $$$ spent!! Has a couple of small dents which I can organise to get repaired. Drives really well and looks great. I'm after $6500
  8. That also isnt the LCI X1, which comes with the 8 speed gearbox and electric power steering which makes a huge differnce, also the interior feels more premium in the LCI with standard I drive and navigation business, along with some nicer materials used.

    BMW Supra anyone?

Overnight parts from Japan, this thing will decimate all. love the reference!
  10. will this suit an M20B20?? Cheers
  11. what are you after for the engine and gearbox complete suit donor to e30??
  12. However, the later LCI models were only single turbo but twin scroll....... same power output though.
  13. kms arent the issue, but get it checked out, many Japan imports dont have service history but are well maintained cars, while many are not... spend the money and get a pre purchase check. shame it cant be a BMW dealer who knows what they're looking for. (GWD Russels arent approved as far as i know)
  14. ^^^^ exactly my thoughts, you arent gonna sell the whole car at once, hence if you part out, you are inevatibly gonna end up with a half wrecked car on your lawn...... sell it whole if you dont want it hanging round!!
  15. love it. giz a go. also, $82,800 for a M135i is reasonable....
  16. someone didnt do their homework!!!
  17. its realistically priced too considering its NZ new and looks tidy.
  18. looking sharp, well done
  19. yeah, the front is actually a tad lower than the rear just cant see it in the pics as it was on a slight hill, looks better in the flesh. the tyres are 195/50/15, probably a bit small but i didnt want the big sidewall look and still drives fine and the speedo is around 6km/h out at 100km/h so not too far off what it was before!
  20. yep, mag and tyre. from your local BMW dealer.. the genuine ones are plastic so much better quality than reps and wont break the first time you catch it on a drive way etc.
  21. seems an odd conversion, the owner obviously didnt have the money to repair/replace the engine when it went wrong... nice colour and NZ new though could be a good project for someone with a crashed one or the likes.
  22. So the week before christmas i brought this off the side of the road, looked like an honest NZ New manual 320i.. Got bored of the stock appearance pretty quick so i added a genuine IS lip, Koni race series shocks all round, lowering springs and an Mtech I steering wheel. Just added yesterday 15x8 BBS RS style rims which im loving the look of..
