Would I need a 10 bolt or 9" for that

Yeah a bit disapointing the end to the last race.3-4 laps under pace car 1 lap sprint to the end. Was several laps short to fit the Aussie TV coverage. Still lots of badass racing and a mean fire at the end in the NZ V8s!!

Does it have to be manual?
-
What about a m3(3ltr) internals? I believe these are 3.23?? and are a medium case (type 188) diff so the internals should be interchangeable. Otherwise an early e36 325 manual I think is around 3.2?. The crown and pinion may be usable.Bolt the LSD unit to the crown wheel. A lot of ???????? I know but somewhere to start.

I have one , but its from a 96 328. Any help?

Linky Why you cant dyno obd2 cars.

What is it with black 328s? Is it standard manual? Lightened flywheel wakes it up. Lsd really helps with the skids too. M50 intake manifold & enlarged throttle body are reportedly good for 15 hp with remap(you cant "chip" these things.) A few horses in a good quality exhaust. Cams from Shrick and others are avaliable but pricey.US m3 cams are an option to look at. Have a look at Turner motorsport,Bimmerworld,Eurosport etc for prices if like to scare yourself. Lots to do on the suspension too. So much fun

Nice car , not many around. It wont increase youre power but.. Lightened flywheel & short ratio LSD will really wake it up. I know this to be true.

JP....just buy a good one with a history. The single vanos on the e36 dosn't cause problems but is good for power. Manual conversions are rare and at least twice the price of e30 ones. The 323 & 328 are more economical the the 320/318/316. Generally speaking they are mechanically reliable , electrically suspect.

Kerry heres a question for you. Aparently the vanos works in the off position at idle , the on position mid range and the off position top end. Make sense to you???
