My D size argon costs $14 a month and ~$90 to fill with argonsheild from BOC. I heard stories about the cost being extreme but I find that quite reasonable.

Martyn, I tried the bonnet sensor, seemed to delay it but not fix it. I'll see if I can figure out the sensitivity adjustment and check the other sensors. I cant seem to find much that relates to this specific alarm which is odd. The LED flashes constantly when the alarm goes of, so no clues there either. Grant, will check that today. Nick, Thanks , but locking with the key arms the remote, so no go there. Also having intermittent problems with the remote lock/unlock. It sat unused for a couple of weeks, then I shifted it an upset it somehow.

No to the M3 bodykit. Just dont want to, something along the lines of "Its been done before" blah blah... Trying to avoid the plastic body kit thing too. The rear valence will be taken care of though.

Some opinions please... Not to bad, is it horribly obvious, can you even tell? Bear in mind there'll be some shaping and a bigarse flares required. I think I can work with it.... Ta.

Hi gurus Are there any common reasons why the factory alarm in a 97 E36 328 might decide that its going to go off for no apparent reason shortly after locking the car? Its a right pain in the arse as I cant lock without disconnecting the battery! Although so far it only seems to do it at home?!? WTF Edit: I've done a Goggle but cant seem to find what I'm looking for (that may not surprise some of you).

Its a leading contender although the primer on the front is only to stop the surface rust untill I get into the paint prep proper.

The hat height of that doesn't look promising. Too tall? From the outside face of the E46 disc 30mm (cant measure the total height without taking the disc off). There's a sh*t load of good sized discs that fit (330 both M3s etc). Edit: The discs i have measure 22mm so I guess that makes a total of aproxx 52mm.

So I took the rather drastic step of measuring the setout of the car with the new front and rear suspension!! Layed some cutting paper under the car and dropped the important locations onto it with the most accurate bubblestick I could find. After spending an age setting the front to straight and fiddling with the rear trailing arm mounts it turns out that, to my endless relief, the car is well within the 3mm tolerance that I set (plucked out of mid air). And one more hammer for Simon.

So let me get this straight. You had your diff mount replaced and were told at the time, by a professional, that several other bushes are worn, and your on the internet asking us why your car is making clunking noises that sound like they are coming from the rear?
