    new shoes

Looks good. Personally I would have gone with some nice ACS Type III's to complement the pin stripping. (I'm sure you can get replicas of them now).
  2. looks like i managed to piss (?) some people off in here. sorry didnt mean to just was bit dissapointed when i typed up what i thought to be shot down cos others had a diff opinion. Hope no hard feelings! And Glenn, thats a very nice car by the looks i feel like i have power with 60kW at the wheels and you have 218hp! We're not pissed of, just voicing our opinions, joys of the interweb!!218hp, hell no, I'd be a bit pissed at that. 218kw (292hp) at the wheels ~250kw(335hp) at the flywheel (depending on what loss you use (15%)) Oh, and if you do get shot down, don't worry, it's just the internet. Ask ///Carl, He's use to it, aye princess
  3. I know, no worries.I (pretty broadly) class rice as anything not from the factory, and serves no real purpose. eg. A 737 wing on the back of a ford laser, Chromies that are so heavy I'm surprised the laser has enough power to 1. Turn them & 2. Stop turning them!!
  4. Yeah, but then the rack isn't centered!!! It needs a proper alignment and make sure they re-center the rack!!
  5. Yes, It would be rice if the IC & piping were polished, and I had is sacked on chromies dragging it's ass down the street. And besides, you try and find a bumper to cover it!!! AND I'd prefer the word "incomplete" was used to describe my E30, as with all project cars "it is always a work in progress"
  6. I'm sure someone told you not to go there!!!Chr!st, I've done better alignments than that in my garage with a piece of string!!! What springs did you go with in the end??
  7. Forgies (maybe rods too), Booooost & Fuel would be my guess.Maybe a bit of head work.
  8. you'd expect a decent aftermarket ECU to be used to get 427hp, so one would assume a knock sensor would be installed (for those bad fuel nightmares), and one would have most certainly been used during tuning (if not, audible detection equipment would have been used ie. a stethoscope). But if it is tuned anything like most of the nuttie scandinavian HP monsters, it will be running so rich (bellowing black smoke) there would be no chance of detonation!!!
  9. Not likely, for road going purposes the extra/less kg's between engines will make snaf all difference.Any of the alloy V8's prolly weigh less than a M50 anyway. Space wise a E36 could acomodate most types of engine, Hell a V12 fits in an E30!! But nothing other than a E36 Engine (M44, M50, S50 etc..) will BOLT IN, anything else will need plently of custom work I'd say.

    New Splitters

Yeah, sweet.PM me what you have in mind.
  11. I don't think you can call it a "problem" in a 320, more a freak of nature!!And only around right handers wasn't it Carl??
  12. depends on size & width, but if it were a 17x8" et13 for example you should be fine.
  13. Are those from IE gus?? If so they are the same as my engine mounts, they make things a bit buzzy but it's all good!!
  14. I have a M20B20 you can have. The Cam/rockers are worn but the valves are fine. You could either put your rocker gear/Cam into the head or the valves into your head!?!?! Like wise with the pistons & rods if needed. Drop me a PM if you want it.

  23. I've got a PC here at home that is running windows 2000. For some reason I can't get IE5 to connect to the internet and therefore can't download any Windows or IE updates which I need to install some more software. Mozilla works just fine though!?!?! Any Ideas??? Fooken PC's!!!
  24. The best thing to do would be to pick up a M50B25 or M52B25/28, then you'll have a 323ti, 325ti or a 328ti. Prolly cost as much to put a 2.0l crank into your engine, for hardly any increase in power.
