  1. From my understanding you can not import a motor vehicle in Australia if it was sold there new. That is why there are very few (2-3) early STI WRX's over there, 'cause the WRX model was sold new from subaru. So I'd say no to that one as E36 318's were definitely sold new over there.

  4. 15" 'caps are ~$2-300 on Tardme, usually with tyres.And your ZS's with 215/40's (578mm) aren't the same rolling diameter as 14's with 195/60's (590mm). FYI 205/45 16's are 590mm. And the 225/45 205/50 combo no lewis's cars is ~608mm, personally I think the slightly taller tyres fill the guards out better.

    So what engine does the B3 3.2l have?? I presume it is a M52B28 with M3 crank & pistons to take it to 3.2l??
  6. A 5lug swap is the best way to go for easy/cheap brake upgrades.Anything from a 318i's 286x12 solid rotors & calipers to E46 330i 325x25 rotors & calipers will bolt on. The rears you are stuck with using 318ti brakes (272x10) unless you go custom.
  7. In the house I have a Momo steering wheel, a pair of rear coilovers, a pair of rear Monobloc Brembo's. In the past I've had set's of wheels which make good coffee tables, turbochargers, cam covers etc... Much to the wifes disgust I must say.

  13. Well I will enlighten you.Some music has low bass. Your 4 speaker factory setup isnt producing anything lower than 35hz. If you listen to music such as Photek on your set up, you wont even hear half the music. And anything lower than 35hz is prolly drowned out by the road noise & exhaust, unless you "park up" and listen to the dooff dooff.
  14. You will find most run a 225/45 on a 17x7.5" rim, which according to my TOYO catalogue has a height of 637mm which equates to a 225/40 R18 and a 225/35 R19 is 640mm so all should fit without rubbing, provided you get wheels that are the correct offset & width.
  15. Yeah, I didn't read it. I had a quick glance: Since when was a CSL a "Sensible Car" what a homo!!! And Eagle F1's of all things to put on it!!! Sure they are nice-ish tyres, but if you can spend 200k on a car I sure as well hope you'd spend some coin keeping it on the road.

  17. What about your brakes Andy?? I can tell you now the stock ones are utter shite when your pushing 1100kg along with that sort of power!! I drove mine once on the stock brakes, it was scary to say the least!! Looking forward to some pic's. Turbo Spec's?? Stock internals?? What CR did you end up with?? Geez it would be nice to pay someone to do all my work for me, but where is the fun/challenge in that, and Imagine the bill, eek.
  18. Yes, E30 M3's use E28 front calipers, but the discs in question are E30 M3 only.

    Be careful going to a 25mm MC, you may find the pedal too hard...E30's are 21m E30 M3's are 23mm (same as some E28's I believe, but don't quote me on it!!) E32's are 25mm

  21. I'd go with the M10 Turbo!! Only a PD (Roots/Screw) supercharger on a V8 (or V12 mmmm) would get my tick. But the chance of me affording a V8 BMW and then buying a PD SC are so slim I'll stick to the M10 turbo reality.

    Koni Coil overs front w/350# springs AVO Coil overs rear haven't decided on sprngs yet, prolly 300-350#

    You need to remove the shocks. At the top of the steel shaft cover pain-in-the-arse thing there are small holes. Fully extend the shock, shove something into the hole (keep it clean guys!!) to push down the bump-stop and remove it through the gap, then compress and twist. Those are the instructions I got From Stocks.
