Barely, I'm not the most popular put it that way!!Here are some more pics for you junkies, Enjoy:

Join the club of freshly reassembled E30's, well me & you anyway Nice turbo you've chosen, what size turbine hsg did you go for?? Very Laggy?? Need more pics!!!
-
Grant: I hope you are removing the AFM and using a MAP or MAF instead??From what I gather the Unichip should be able to output a (modified to suit) signal from either that the ECU can use. Also, is it fuel only?? Or ignition too??
-
looks familiar I sold them to Lewis, pity I had to (dam funds), they were dam nice wheels!! esp. considering I have another E30 now, O'well.
-
Wheel choice is pretty slim when you are trying to fit them over porsche 4pots.I had some BBS's but sold them to my sister as they wouldn't fit. Andrew: No rubbage at al on the front, rears are rolled but the tyre still rubs up in the guard, rear springs are still too soft and it rubs when it squats under acceleration, just right on the edge. Those bushes are fantastic, drives like it's on rails!! esp. compared to how it was before (rear wheels steering under acceleration). I'll get all the info on the 5lug swap together shortly.

Well, The E30 is back on the road in time for summer. For those of you that don't know, the car was off the road for 9mths, in that time it has received a E36 5lug conversion, including new Koni shocks (front coilovers), Further front brake upgrade (996 Porsche Brembos) thanks alot to Ian (hartage) for his help, new polyurethane bushes (trailing arms, rear subframe & control arms), new 17x8" wheels with 225/45's front & 245/40's rear (yes it is a squeeze) and diff ratio change, 3.46 to 3.91, to suit the new tyre sizing. And thanks also to Sam (E34-535ti) for his help (in general). A wheel alignment was done this morning, everything was within check except the front camber(+0.5d). So I'll be ording some adjustable strut tops on monday to remedy that. Other than that it is going very well, and handles awesomely (LOL, even with positive camber). Still has traction issues in 1st & 2nd in the dry. Here is a pic in it's current state: (I realised when I got home the camera was set on the crap setting)

You'd need to get the whole roof panel from a wreak. Drill out the spot welds down the sides, get the front & rear screens out, lift off the old roof and weld the new one in, also get the roof lining, controls etc... from the wreak. Prolly set you back an easy $2K, for a whole in the roof!!!
-
Prolly 'cause it's turbo'd, mmmmm

Electric fans don't flow any where near as much as the engine fan, esp. not the air con. fan. Have it as an extra, sure, but not as the only fan. If you want to remove the engine fan look for the fans off a AU falcon, they have a twin fan setup complete with shroud that mounts to the back for the radiator. Why do you want to ditch the air con. any way??

I've got a set of EVO recaro's also, haven't fitted them though as the sport seats aren't too bad, A little old and rickity.
-
geez, it sits a long way forward. Where does the shifter come out?? through the heater controls??
-
I knew it!!! But wasn't too sure as you had alot of clothes on for a change!!The mounts conflicted with the E36 ones, bit of a PITA. Andrew: Working towards the end of the month, fingers crossed.

LOL, no, I sold the red ones and just got these ones.Have you taken up acting gus?? Play station adds even??
-
LOLThe weight of the front rotors alone would be enough to be an upgrade the honda what are you trying to say That your CRX, being so light doesn't need huge'O brakes *cough* or go fast enough *cough* JK No bias adjustment should be required, according to my V.rough Calculations. If it is a wilwood or AP inline bias valve may be needed.

Thanks Guys. Looking forward to driving it again, target is the end of the month. I won't have the rears on then as they will be part of EVO3, which will see some major backend work next winter. I got a set of 17x8 BBS RX's, but they don't have enough clearance for the calipers, so I've sold them to my sister who has a E36 325i, and I have bought a set of 17x8 Axtec X's, which aren't as nice, but look OK and fit most importantly. I haven't seen/heard much of Lewis, yeah he got my old 16's, wish I still had them for my new toy, o'well.
-
Well here they are. Rears are in the foreground & the fronts behind. Enjoy. ps. I forgot to take a photo of the discs, 324x30mm.

Hi Grant, I investigated these (Kmac & Powerflex) when I did the group buy last year. Conclusion was they are are to adjust & don't keep the adjustment for long. The only true solution is to modify the rear subframe as per Gustave's Site My $0.02

Make me an offer. Yeah, it is graham. The engine is a bit tired, but runs happily enough, till I think of a suitable replacement
-
Even a NA 3.5L would be a good DD.I was thinking a 1UZ, keeping the Auto and have it as a cruiser, mmmm, 4.0L V8
-
LOL, it is in deed!!It has 225/60 R15 rear & 215/60 R15 front, they are like beach balls!!! Need to find a set of 205/50's.

Well, she arrived this morning. Not too sure what I am going to do with it!?!?! SA '86 320i 157,000km 5spd 15" BBS RM's (2pc) Needs a bit of TLC and WOF but otherwise fine. Andrew: I think it is a similar spec to your old one, medium case diff, rear drums & long-range fuel tank. ps. The new Brembo's for the 323i arrived yesterday, I'll post pics soon. mmmmm, 4pots, front and rear, mmmmm

No choice from what I can see. Toyota is the business!! Hell, they still make the old girls, just the same!! The old rangies have shitty gearboxes with chain driven transfer cases and old pushrod V8 with SU's, does it get any uglier!!! Oh, and a total loss oil system dervied from the mini.
-
At least they are stiffer than not having a roof at all!!!
