Probably could get away with running them but depends who does your Wof.

Yeah the V12 is awesome you goto try one alright. Me and a mate brought a E32 750i, loved it when its was all going well, but after owning one i wouldn't want to fix it or pay anyone too that's for sure. Parts aren't the easiest to get either. Nice cars if you got the cash thou, hits the limiter real easy

I just replaced mine with a new one from supercheap auto for $60, all i had to do was put a female connector into the ariel and plug it in. Only problem with 2nd hand one is you dont know how long its going to last, least if new should last a fair bit.

Yeah ive never been blinded by any BMW fogs or other euros, always been some bloody jap, rav4's come to mind.
-
Rust probably the other issue if it hasn't been looked after - doors, boot, fenders, wheel wells, sunroof, tail rights, battery tray, fuel filler, most of the main ones. Otherwise just all the usual stuff Auto Transmission are pretty much the same as 6 cyl E34's im pretty sure(4HP 22).

Yeah had a few calls myself, not that they all bad
-
Very very nice, cant get better rims than that (Style 5's if im correct).

Sounds a bit like a driveshaft problem to me, could be worn driveshaft centre bearing or flex disc, or the actually shaft its self
-

A teacher asked her 3rd form class how many of them were Clark fans. Not really knowing what an Clark fan is, but wanting to be liked by the teacher, All the kids raised their hands except for Little Johnny. The teacher asked Little Johnny why he has decided to be different...again. Little Johnny said, "Because I'm not an Clark fan." The teacher asked, "Why aren't you an Clark fan?" Johnny said, "Because I like National ." The teacher asked him why he like National Little Johnny answered, "Well, my Mom like National and my Dad likes National , so I like National ." Annoyed by this answer, the teacher asked, "If your mom was a moron and your dad was an idiot, What would that make you?" With a big smile, Little Johnny replied, "That would make me an Labour fan

E34 for me First BMW i loved and brought was the E34(3.5L) and still do love em as much as the E30's, 6's, 7's etc. I need another E34\E32\E38 for a cruiser as E30 ain't the best for that. Id rather have an E38 than a E39 looks a bit better imo.

Ok, if you can drive upto Hamilton

I find they are alot easier to throw around and get some good old oversteer going, alot more raw than e36 steering feel wise and less refined ride. Feels like more of a sports car for me. I suggest driving one and you will see
-
Haha yeah you do feel the speed alot more in the E30 than the E36, but i found E30 steering feel is better and alot easier to know whats your cars doing when your driving it hard.
-
E36 is boring for me mainly because there are so many around, everyone from young chaps to grannies drives one. I respect people who drive them because they are a good car but alot of seem to get them just to be posers compared to other BMW's, they look modern and are cheap. For me if just depends on what you want in a car, no doubt E36 is alot quieter, handles better, more power etc ie better for a daily, but as many have mentioned not as fun as the E30. Looks are subjective but for me an a nicely done up E30 looks far better than any E36 ive ever seen. Stock for stock E36 is probably a bit better thou. PBOY: My E30 has no cracked dash or rust and build quality is very good compared to some E36's ive seen
-
Love the shape of all older BM's ive owned. Not the most powerful cars around but cant really beat them for the whole package - looks, comfort, handling, price & decent power for their age etc, not to mention seeing E30's less and less so good ones stand out.
-
thanks, will look into it. My ones are a bit shot so thought might as well get some slightly bigger ones about 15mm to raise the rear a tad
-
Anyone know where to get bigger rear bottom spring pads for the E30, like 15mm
