Looks pretty ancient & might as well be replaced. New genuine ones are about $30-40

Big fan at the front on the engine, i quoted one up from BM Workshop awhile ago and it was bit over $300 for an E30 one, id imagine yours be similar price.so i imported one for just over $100. Could buy a 2nd hand one but bit of a gamble if the clutch is good enough. Is it easy to spin?

Never been under a E24 but should be similar to other bmws in which you only have to remove: 4 19mm? bolts at the top which attach the diff to the housing(which you seem to have done) 4 17mm driveshaft locknuts, Allen Key bolts for the 2 cv joints on the diff Big 22mm? that goes through the diff rubber diff mount

I run these as you can see. Mine are 35 offset, 6.5 inch rim. Ran fine no spacers until i renewed my brake pads then were grinded on front calipers. You could get away with a 3-5mm spacer but im getting some 10mm hubcentric ones made up so all legal and right offset. Look damm good good thou, worth every penny.

nice vid & cars bar that E36 with bonnet vents and a white grill
-
I know the dude who knows that and his son. Should ask him for a drive

Just a had a look again and your right it was an E32, not sure how i missed that .
-
Yeah Clarkson's wheel flying off cracked me up for awhile, E34 too tough for them .

M60 is better until you have to work on it.
-
Least your be able to keep a leg now that you dont have it. I drove a E32 with it and it wasn't anything special just get decent shocks
-
then you would have to but that E21 323i in there also
-
Looks like mine too, think only the 325i and M3 E30 came with oil coolers

Im running -1.5-2 in the front and -2.5 rear and tyre wear has been even as over my 8000km, this is with 14"bottlecaps and 15" weaves

1st time ive dealt with them so who knows

Main reason i have a radar is for passing people,. Alot safer imo passing where there are no passing lanes & going a bit over the limit(esp when the fools speed up) than to take longer to pass and hold up people behind you. Don't remember the amount of times ive seen cops at the end of passing lanes, law pisses me off. Gotta get the money

Not sure about fast, its been just about 2 mths since i sorted my sway bars and a few bushes. Maybe they just busy.

Saw it too. Very tidy alright & the red is superb, don't see too many red E30's.

Tried a diff browser? or you could just format your pc, works wonders

White thick smoke coming out of the tail pipe when car even when car is at operating temp Using coolant with no traces of leaks Temp gauge shooting upto red zone then back to normal Oil in coolant visa vera(check dipstick and oil cap for white residue) A leak down, compression test & cooling system pressure test should confirm if you wanted to know for sure

I love the E30 box shape, its box but still looks classic bmw esp with some nice alloys. The E36 are too rounded & common for me to own & not as fun to drive as the tail-happy E30 handling. Not sure why someone would think they are actually hideous, loads of car out there that meet that criteria, i think most people would agree that E30 ain't one of them.

The M20 in the E34 are quite slow, if i was going with 2.5L id have to be '91+ with the newer M50. M30 3.5 are usually cheaper and go well, auto's in the M20 & M30 them are the same as the E30 auto ZFHP22 as long as you fluid has been looked after they are sweet, ive never had any problems with the auto ive owned. Ive gotten 26-28MPG cruising and about 20 MPG average around town. Ive owned 3 E34's and an E32 all M30 and had no problems switching over to the E30, quite similar in alot of aspects. http://www.bmwe34.net is a good site for more info
