Haven't bothered trying 98, cars been sitting now well over a year however i did start it today
-
Mine M50 made bunch more torque 640nm crank on 10 psi on 91, 1230ft/lb at the wheels and 487hp crank Valve area may add to the result
-
Interesting the torque difference between a single cam 2.5 and twin 2.5
-
Not too bad, however the launch control isnt right. Light car will be tons of fun
-
No pipe inside at all, dead center is the best place or build a dual plenum
-
The intake regardless how you do it as it sits with be very average for equal cly flow, your stinky linky could do individual cly tuning will clean things up
-
Cut 45 on the edge of the manifold and come from under it for turbo feed

Blah i wish mate, me and coffee are great mates ! Had a customer of sorts the ring and asked if i got his email of 2 weeks, i replied yes and when i get a chance ill configure all you need for your setup. His reply " but i need it now and you could potentially get a turbo sale from it" Potentially ? I asked, so he got told how it was. I've got well over 400 messages on my FB page to which i answered 100 of them one night ( they keep growing ) till 2 am and over the next week 5 people replied....so i may potentially get a sale from you? He changed his tune.

Parts are ordered should be here in a week
-
I'll order the parts and do my best within your time frame
-
I dare not have a look they will pull me into their evil ways ! I get this daily people trying to save a dollar and i well understand why, i just refuse to scrape a couple of bucks to get a sale. Many of these companies are just polishing a turd and best of luck to them, as its been stated part of the process is removal and install and that alone isn't cheap to which need to be considered. The margins between cheap chang and OEM use to be large, not so much anymore thus OEM suppliers have dropped their prices to dangle the carrot.
-
I get many customers from Oz who are sick of the Chang market there that do nothing but supply crap portraying it as quality products and they are sick of it, fair enough if they charged little and didn't hide that fact but not the case. Like i said i can supply OEM parts built unit and still make enough to pay the bills, and sleep at night.
-
For the pricing they quote totally agree, all that is shinny isn't gold.
-
Yep and they are supplying you a NEW turbo thats been upgraded for 999us, no exchange....ching chang Ebay special Which backs up your comments about the bad reputation some have given them. Get what ya pay for,
-
" Brand new N55 turbo, custom cast" ? Some where OEM was left out, and what's OEM custom cast? Want to have some fun , ring up BMW see what the price for new OEM turbos and add that into the cost of upgrading them total of 999us ? Okie dokie lol Go for it
-
Food for thought, there's not exactly thousands of these cars being wrecked so if they offer you units based on no exchange there's a high chance your buying cheap chang crap.
-
I still make good coin regardless just like to look after the locals, just as much of my work goes off shore guess its a b****h when your popular. Hope whatever they sell they stand behind
-
Just bad timing would loved to have helped just my work load and developing my own NZ made turbo is consuming any spare time, im even paying people to finish my own toys as i dont have time. I can assure you no one can bet my pricing even when i use OEM components.
