they do however charge $95+ an hour as opposed to about $70.00+ at these indepdent places. BMW tends to charge you to 'look' at an issue & the indepedents just look at it without charge & gives you an opinion/recommendation of what's wrong.

Whole bunch of crap broke inside the sunroof mechanism & i got replacement from Ray. I've spend 2 hours dismantling the roof panels, headlining etc.. Now I'm stump as to how to remove the entire cabling with a big lifter through a tiny hole... I presume if you've broken a mechanism, you need to replace the whole damn lot! ouch! any ideas from those that have done it before? Cheers

Hi all, i won an auction on TM for BMW. Got in touch with the seller & asked for VIN details & they've asked me for my details to do a registration transfer. I said i'll come and pick the car up on the weekend & pay cash for it. I've rung today for an address & they've said the car has been already taken on thursday night! I said i was the one that won the auction. Someone has obviously pretended to be me & taken it away. They obviously haven't asked for an ID! Now the owner has already lodged ownership transfer papers in my name & address. I've rung the police to make a report just incase if these moron's decide to do something untoward & i could be liable. They said i'm not the registered owner & can't do anything. What are my options here? Attached is the pic of the car....

cheers for the comments guys. what are they like in the wet?

17 inch - i think i'm running 215 at the rear. Possibly going for 225 if that doesn't screw up any geometry.. my left tyre has been eaten on the inside and hence failed my warrant. I presume i'l have to replace both. Budget around ~500 but doesn't mean you have to sell me a set that's cost that much! Looking for an all rounder with good grip in the dry & wet Noise - the quiter the better! Brands - i kinda like the reviews on toyo's..but throw me some and i'll do some reading. Hoping to get it fitted this weekend at your penrose store. Cheers

e46 318i - need to warm up before driving off, if not it'll just stall and the steering locks! pretty friggin dangerous! but if you warm it up before driving it off, its all fine. Had it hooked up to diagnostics a few times and no errors to be found. Ideas? Cheers

you've got an e39 as well as an e38? stick with originals or oem and guaranteed not to squeek
-
too many on here want the massive mags but can't afford decent rubber - i cringe when they're wanting secondhand tyres for their 18's & 19s!
-
if you're looking at e30s then i presume you'll looking at e34. The early models have the same engine as the e30s - 520i & 525i. No 523i in the e34 shape. If you want an e34 - go for a post 94 model

Awesome ride dude - you've spend the money in the right places!

that's a really good looking touring man - all of it on here is real nice - mine is a pissa compared to what's on the board
