actually been thinking about stuff.......my biggest worry would be heat.....so i would be keen to get one made up, especially as carbon isnt cheap, and i would need to get the end plates made up anyway.....the alloy even with bends should be sweet...im borrowing grants RD one at the mo, so if he needs to have a look at his that would be no prob...they dont move much so stress cracking wouldnt be too much of a worry (im kinda lost so might not have that right but you get the idea), i could also show him my car if he needs a strut tower template im keen for rears as well, but making those wouldnt be as difficult, that would be dependent on price $141 is a good strut brace price

all the CF ones ive seen pictures of look thin......mine would be pretty chunky.....haha no such thing as a cheap steel one.......otherwise i would be doing that.....carbon is just easier....wouldnt mind too much if it let go round a corner....just remake it, hoping it doesnt damage anything else! e46 brace

late 80's 325i, or M325i (m would run you prob 8 grand ish, 325i a bit less, prob around 5-6 for a decent one) and turbo......250 hp at the wheels not too hard to achieve with a decent setup.....and car is approx 1100-1200 kg.....so it should go ok...only prob is finding an LSD if you dont go for the M thats what i would do anyway! www.e30tech.com a good place for info, along with corky bell's maximum boost, available from amazon.com, which i am reading now there are other ways, ive just listed my personal fav

more because i can work with carbon fibre....dont have a welder so cant weld....yet and i want a strut brace lots.......im pretty sure it would be strong enough, i just wonder if the strut towers move enough for something to worry about

as the title says...i got a bit carried away at lunch time today with the angle grinder and now have bits of CF to use as strut bracing....gonna try copy grants front strut tower mounts (any idea if i give to a machine shop to copy they could do it without costing the earth) but any ideas for the back? damn why do i get into these things

thats exactly what an LSD cures carl ive never found any difference between left n right, but different drivers prefer certain side.....im cant really see how the side of the crown wheel makes a diff i have to admit when i first got my old car, i was a bit of a gump....as im sure everyone at the lookout in taupo can attest to

but oversteer can be corrected....there aint bugger all you can do bout understeer except button off.....i love oversteer...roundabouts with random wet patches from a scrub truck got me today..was fun

i wouldnt bother drifting an e30....main reason...you cant buy LSD's....an s14 or s13 silvia would be much better choice, plus parts are prob cheaper

some sort of stand alone....link prob start on way to turbo...would maybe add some bigger injectors, but prob not
