7.88. Though I'm not sure 'bullshit artist' counts as an artist.

That laptop inside it is pretty oldschool looking! I love the bedroom eyes the guy is giving to her as he tilts her seat back at the touch of a button. Shame the car is so ghastly/tasteless.

I paid $666 at Hutt City European. Fortunately, I'm not a superstitious kind of guy.

Happy Geburtstag, Herr Martyn.
-
Is it actually Martyn in a blonde wig?
-
Don't like the wheels. Get dish!

I refuse to have children because there are already too many short bastards in this world.

Look Ryan, there's no room in the theatre for hypersensitive types. Perhaps today will be like my ninth birthday, when I performed the entire score of Xanadu for my friends. Thanks guys- oh, and my name's Will, by the by.

Haha I love how some Aucklanders think they are 'socialites'! C'mon, really?! As for the real women list, add Nigella Lawson.

Poor guy... he has bad taste AND he isn't very funny.

Have you got any spare E30 Electric window switches please? Happy to give you a bit of money if you were to post them to me (they are pretty small) Cheers, Will

I had those wheels on my old Fiat! Wish the rest of it looked like the more exclusive Italian number though. Gosh we get off topic fast. What model of E46 is it?

Happy birthday, my unpredictable house music loving friend. Don't take too many E's and stay away from topless guys with whistles. XX

colour choices for a 1982 BMW E28
ThreeOneEight replied to E28 Master of diguises's topic in Appearance
Keep it silver, and spend the money on a Cardinal red leather interior. Would look tits with the silver coachwork. Oh, and Cardinal is a dark red, not that naff 'Holden Racing Team themed Bordello' red. Just in case someone doubted my exceptional taste for a minute there. -
Old car magazines usually have price lists

Isn't this just a warning that in general, early SMG gearboxes were not very good in terms of shift quality or reliability? It's hardly a brand new car (must be at least ten years old now), so it's much akin to buying an old FIAT and wondering why it always breaks. Sounds like it's time for a manual conversion!
-
Oh right I have seen a few of them at BMW dealerships- it's not a green-grey Touring is it?
-
I'm assuming it is an ex-Japan or Singapore car? In which case, do they have a different(read: worse) gearbox like the JATCO equipped E46's did? Or is this not happening with E90 models? Someone will know. Is the asking price much cheaper than an equivalent NZ new 325i? You may find the NZ new car will have a better warranty and that extra power may be worth the few extra thousand- look into it.

Love the two-tone! I wonder why Australia got USA ETA engine models whilst NZ got UK spec cars?

There's no way car crushers could be operated on a roadside. For starters you must remove all fluids from a vehicle before crushing, as well as many other parts- it's too hard to remove them after crushing and makes it illegal to dump the "car-casses" if they are still full of oil/glass/air conditioning gas/fuel and so forth. That and car crushers are very loud and messy. It would be an absolute logistical nightmare, I simply don't see it happening on roadsides- I agree it would be a very effective spectacle, but practically, it's a joke. Fear not, SLABsters!

I seem to remember an ex- UK E46 330Cd Coupe for sale on TradeMe late last year... perhaps it's still out there?
-
Wow, that colour is so 1988! I love it.
-
Haha no one likes Double Brown! I wish they would do a series of those 1950s oval shaped Swiss plates. Would be so cool.

Is that a Mk2 Volkswagen Polo in the rear photograph? I remember one in the same colour sitting with smashed windows on the corner of Cuba and Jackson Streets in Petone a few years back- is it the same one?
