Any signwriters or merchandisers with any access to this kind of product that perhaps a BMW/ Bimmersport logo could be put on for a group buy? And then if you could put a Toyota logo on one for me that would be great! lol
-
Darn it, half the pics have a copyright label in them
-
You could try Toyspeed for an indication- there are a few starlet owners on there
-
Hang on, can you be a bit more specific please? We have the 3 door Sierra Cosworth (all RWD?), the 4 door Sierra Sapphire Cosworth (4WD?) and the non-Cosworth NA XR 4x4 (RWD), but then the normal Seirras were RWD anyways... it was the Cosworth and the Xr4x4 that were special...

ROFL! Those are awesome, but the Skyline one? nah, no questions here, I'll take the car and the girl! lol
-
Darn it, I cannot get into the thread- anyone have a new link to it?
-
Bugger, really sorry to hear about it though- would rather it was found and drivable than written off through some f***wit driving into the back of it...
-
Yeah, it's gone- Readings have turned it into more carparking... I asked a similar question a while back on Toyspeed (or here? I forget), there was nothing in the Wellington area back then... I dunno, maybe a Bimmersport 'Bring your car and cleaning stuff, we'll hire a water blaster & polisher day'?

I know! I saw this programme on Sky and ended up purchasing seasons 1 and 4 on boxset (Can't get 2 & 3 - long story)... love the idea and the tips they give, but when I see some of the Rangi stuff they do... Grrr! But then, they are buying to just do up and flick on, not restore and keep... and besides. I love watching them work on the cars!

lol, yeah, when I saw the thread the E36 compact immediately came to mind! Funny thing is that from the front, some of them look pretty good, and then you see the boot... ugh What about anything considered underpowered? E30 316? E28 518e (unsure re: engine size, but economy model...)
-
M or not? is a motorsport E30 same as M-tech?

Ooh, got pics? One day, I'll own a 325 (would have been a 535, but I figure my driving style suits smaller cars ) with M Sport goodies, so keep this coming! Sticky anyone? -
Penry, where is your local place in Wellie? I've found it in Borders, but for about $17! Ow! While I'm at it, I always have a look around Trademe and second hand bookshops for old copies of BMW Car, Performance BMW and Total BMW, have never found any... anybody seen any anywhere?
-
When I first saw the convertible, I thought "Awesome!", but when i saw it from behind, and with the roof up... yuk. Now an E34 coupe... hmmm
-
While I've not put a car together before, I've enough experience with older cars to know this is usually a problem! lol What condition are your fittings in? That is, screws/nuts/bolts, as well as interior fitting pins, electric plugs, etc. Any broken or worn out, and will you need to replace them before fitting? Just my 2c

Any news on what happened with this one Rowan? -Andrew

Yeah, there was a facelift re: wider grilles- can't remember when exactly (late '93?), but it's come up in a few of the books I have on BMW's... facelifts are usually to smooth the way for the next generation being built, in this case the E39.

Watched it, don't get it. Love techno & trance, location is out of kilter, but funny? No.

Hey, don't knock them FXGT's- I started driving here in NZ with a Jap-spec '86 model, and it was awesome! [sigh] What is AIDS by the way? Last I heard it was an incurable STD, so I'm assuming it's some form of electronic traction control? I'm looking at E30's and E34's as my next purchase, so might be a bit new fangeld for me! lol Oh, and to answer the question, apparently not very well! lol
-
 :puke: It looks awful...

Now I haven't got a Beemer (yet!), but how difficult is this? I mean I imagine the welding is pretty straightforward (well, for a welder anyway lol), but what about the interior bits- piping, fibreglass etc? I was thinking of getting this done to my car- Coby headers, modified cat and bigger exhaust pipes with the muffler interior hollowed out, but when I saw the pics of the inside of different mufflers, it made me wonder whether the cost of getting the muffler done would exceed the cost of getting a new muffler instead!

You guys with the crapped out iPods could try iFix in Wellington- they were amongst the first to start repairing iPods in NZ (if not the first), and still going strong (well, last I heard anyway). And if they reckon it's beyond salvage, at least you'll get a choc bar!
-
Funny, I was hoping to have one by now, but alas life has other plans for me, like marriage! lol I will have a manual E34 535 with msport kit, LSD diff, oh, and a sunroof. In silver. Oh, and with headers! One day... Ooh, is that car manual BTW?
-
Been noting your threads re: E34 headers, looked good in the pics, look awesome in the car! Wish I had an E34...! Good luck with the orders!

Yeah,I found this last year, and there is some seriously funny s*** on there- some of the other sites are pretty funny too, like the guy teaching English in Japan... the guy who joins the US Army is pretty good, but there hasn't been a new post in nearly two years... pity.
