The car is looking amazing man!

I'm gonna be a bastard and call this out though.. I can't stand the indicator housings.

Maybe recess the indicators into the frame (without the housing) or build a custom bumper for it that spans across the entire front.

If none of those options are possible, maybe make the housing a bit smaller somehow so that it doesn't protrude out as much and shy away from the chrome so it doesn't command attention?

Maybe it's the photos but for me those things just don't look like they belong there :(

Everything else.. simply stunning.

Clears are for e46s and fags :P

Anyway, Atta's partly right. The mistake was made a further back while the body work was being done.

What should have happened is the area under the side of the bumper needed to be filled smooth so the side part of the bumper could have been cut short like this

As it is the bumper's cutting the car in half and looks wrong, see this most excellent example of the art of photography.

Soooo, no choice but to colour code them red.

Was a bit bummed with it.

Anyway, was a nice day today, so thought I'd wash some of the pine pollen off that gathers this time of year. Cursed stuff. Dropped it on its wheels, towed it outside, washed it. Feel betterer.

Aaaannd threw a battery in it to test some stuff. Decided to check out the fuel pump to see if I could find a reason why it wasn't triggering and no earth! Fixed that. Springs into life. f**k it. Plug the missing coolant sensor in, throw some gas in it. Fuel pump works, builds pressure and stops just like it's supposed to. Flick key to start. Raaaaaa.

f**king stoked. Idles smooth, revs nicely, sounds crisp (through no exhaust ha). Win.

Fkn badass. Need to come over eventually I guess.

Just one thing, why did you cut out where the rego number would go? Is something going in there or did I miss something?

Hey just wondering, did you swap the entire steering column? If so, was there much work needed to make it fit?

Yeah, whole steering shaft/unit/bracket.

The bracket bolts on with small mods to the e30 support at top and gets extended and fixed to the fire wall. There's no support bearing at the firewall, only whats in the bracket.
