Ply?! Honestly, mate, I have no idea how you do these things. Great job... Now all you need is a low level parking cam or PDC!

Looks amazing!

(I wonder if it would look better with the plate just below the grill on the actual body of the car?)

Might look like a set of buck teeth? Dont really know where to put yet, maybe offset under bumper.

Also, thinking about sticking a low blow turbo on it. Something to make around 350 fly-horses.

Anyone with any great ideas re std equipment turbos that might fit the bill? Evo or similar? Cause cheep-cheep.

Looks tits!!

I wish you had taken a plug off that front end, makes me envious every time I see it.

Talk to crunchy, he'll have a turbo solution for you.

Something like one of his HRC40's would go well on a high-comp 2.8l.

You'll prob' want to run it on some E85 too to good measure.

Just be wary, high HP turbo E30's are particularly anti-social I have found

You can buy smaller (and legal) plates from plates.co.nz now, they are the same width as the one you have on there now, but 100mm high. Think it would make all the difference on the front of this car

Something more like this. Cheap and quality.

You would want the 0.82ar turbine hsg.

Well done dude! How long did the cert process take from inspection to the delivery of the plate?

Heh. Noticed the height thing too, it's not what you'd call super low, no adjustment, maybe they ran out of room on the plate? Who knows.

Two months. Had to get an emissions test and a car-o-liner report and do a design approval which added to the time. Cost about a grand all up.

Need a drop tank au.

Drove down to Hampton for the Icebreaker last weekend and while there we set it up on the scales.post-674-0-17939400-1379826996.jpgNo driver and about 1/3 tank of gas. Around 20 ltrs.A bit more than I was expecting tbh. Also surprised at even weight split front to back.

Saw the car there Tony, although not you. Looks bloody great in the flesh - a project very well done :)

Thanks Grant.

Had a few positive comments, so I guess I'm heading in the right direction.

Good to see the car again this weekend, Tony, it's one of my favourites. If you ever decide you've had enough of this project I'd seriously like to be considered as its new owner! I'd sell a kidney for it (I've got a spare).

Thanks! Would this be before or after the M5 Touring? :P

I think we may have similar conditions, too many ideas not enough cars!

Before not having enough cars I didn't have enough money! It's a condition known as 'living-beyond-your-means'.

EDIT: If I buy your completed projects I save myself an awful lot of hard work and work I'm actually not capable of doing!
