jjs 64 Report post Posted October 8, 2009 sh*t yea! Bathurst 1000 this Sunday. I'm looking forward to being extremeley hung over and lying on the couch working my way through a bucket of K-fry and ripping the skin of a slab of XXXX. The TAB has Ford as the favourite, paying $1.60 for the win (Holden paying $2.20). Looks like the Skaife/Murph combo has a good chance for the win. E30 325i Rag-Top 2958 Report post Posted October 8, 2009 Hanging out for this one. Lowndes/Whincup are red hot favourites! Fingers crossed for Murph/Skaife combo to preform. Hard to look past the Triple 8 entry to win - reliable and quick. Murph and Skaife will be quick and competitive for a while but I don't think they have the right temperament to finish the race - there will be a red mist somewhere along the track!! Driftit 2078 Report post Posted October 8, 2009 (edited) Remember Murph got right up there last year in the last 5 laps or so. So I think he does have a real chance of winning. Based our rules around theirs but made it a little more intense haha. Can't remember them tho.

|ncary 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2009 please continue, i want to hear some ideas I wrote an extensive set of rules last year, have mis-placed the list. but, things like 1 drink per lap. 1 drink per overtake. 3 drinks per each pit stop where something goes wrong. 1 drink each time these words are said: 'delaminating', 'sensational', 'fans', 'incident' and 'the lap' (in reference to Murphys 2:06.8 lap in '03) (add more words depending on how keen you are to drink, I'd add 10 more hahaha) 1 half beer per written off car. 1 complete beer, shotgunned, per Roo incident, and whenever a commentator cracks a high in his voice. Some ideas to get you started

c.robertson00 11 Report post Posted October 9, 2009 I find it hard to get excited over a catagory of racing that uses prehestoric engineering on thier cars... OHV engines and live rear axles.. And when they let the jappas have a go they kicked them out because they were winning too much. I lol at the aussie comentators when they use big words when describing things like "tyre degredation"
