*Glenn* 854 Report post Posted July 19, 2010 Good ones are very hard to find. They may be expensive, however if you do find a really good one...look after it, spend a bit of coin on it and appreciate the very nice classic you now own. Buy a piece of sh*t, and you'll never get it right, no matter how much money you throw at it.
Forrest 35 Report post Posted July 19, 2010 (edited) ^Reminds me of that quote from the guy off Comedy Central, Glenn, "you can't polish a turd, but you can roll it in glitter". Hahahahahaha Edited July 19, 2010 by Brams

Hartage 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2010 All this may be so, but as I am nearer 50 now than 40, and have 2 at the moment I dont believe that age is a good reason to own or not own! I should add that a mate here in Wellington at 75 next birthday has a cabbie and uses it as his daily driver and is not soft on it! Just do it! tire 10 Report post Posted July 19, 2010 Agree with everything but the engines aren't all noisy, I can hardly hear mine from inside. Buy a mint one Graham, like the black m325i in Hawkes Bay

1rotty 40 Report post Posted July 19, 2010 If u need to post a thread like this you dont deserve one. They're just so much fun regardless of ur age- and you know it Graham There is a super nice manual cabby here in HB which I think is quietly for sale too. JiB 0 Report post Posted July 19, 2010 Don't forget most of them have lots of rattles. Poo, unadjustable suspension. Poor soundstages. Terrible steering. Tappets need doing all the time. Stupidly slow. Super soft chassis. Unless you're lucky $$$ will need to be spent on bushes. Mtech kits scrape on everything. Coupes and tourings are overpriced. Sedans are boring. You're welcome to a drive of the touring before my box of goodies gets installed, the wobblyness is sure to put you off

Eagle 1662 Report post Posted July 19, 2010 Never had any problems with my old E30 i just paid a bit more and got a tidy one, like has been said get what you pay for usually. Probably more unsafe E36's than E30's with every g-unit poser having seem to own one.
