tony2657 5 Report post Posted February 18, 2011 He will probably fix it and then ask for 2k that's why I go to DCH now haha. Not really fair. Always ask for an estimate before you get the work done, and ask them to phone you if it is going to go over. Sometimes they just find stuff they weren't expecting. Got a Speeding ticket. cop was a fking crack up, he found my referring to the 4's and rotors as a "flat-peaker" convention hysterical. chippies 0 Report post Posted February 19, 2011 (edited) apart from cleaning the exterior i also cleaned underneath. lets just say after 5 hours of cleaning i am happyer than i was with it. was a hard job but there is nothing that degreser cannot get rid of, and steel wool. pictures speak louder than words. and then i also changed out my fuel filter, which involved new fuel line old one and new one Edited February 19, 2011 by chippies

hybrid 1043 Report post Posted March 8, 2011 Sad sad sight. I feel your pain, im sure most of us have been there ^^ at some point haha. When I got mine back when it had an m20 in it 4/5years ago I took it out for a drive after I cleaned it ... went out to clevedon then miranda .. was driving back .. around maramarua noticed my lights started to go dim. pulled in at the gassy and asked for a new battery .. they sold the last one a few ours before. Andy and gus made the trip out to change out my altenator ... legends ... true legends. the call was made "welcome to e30 ownership" hahaha
