I imported some extra BMW frames if those are the ones you are after, as have people ask for frames and not plates all the time, especially in the week or so after a group buy closes plus thought id see how they go on trademe at a retail cost. $45 shipped to bimmersporters, and the account is in the first post. just send me a PM when you've made payment so i keep an eye open for it.

How is the front plate on an e34 attached anyway - mine's been half-arsed (just screwed into the plastic! with horrible self tappers) Probably by the dealer that first sold it.

i think mine had caps much like the back but its been so long since ive seen my E34 ive forgotten. should be obvious once you take the plate off though?

I had, the caps appear to require more things to fit.

Might just do as slack NZ'ers do and just screw it to the front of the car.

Don't drill into the plates, when i get round to doing mine i'll just double side tape them on, that's how the rear is stuck on now and will take quite a bit of work getting it off!

I second this. They look ugly with bolts through them.

I've had mine taped on with trim tape on three cars now and there's no sign of them coming off. One even survived a frontal impact, the only thing holding the bumper trim together was my number plate.

yep thats why i always recommend getting the frames for them, and they look better too, but its all of you alls choice!

I mean, I have nowhere to mount my plate frames to the front of the car as someone has just half arsed it from day one.

Hopefully double sided tape will stick to the plate frames.

i noticed the other day that germanplates.co.nz have redesigned thier site and have a lot more options that werent previously available. I have noticed they have also increased thier prices, so i will see whether my price also increases.
