No name user 379 Report post Posted September 9, 2013 if the runs were done in 4th which is how its meant to be done then with a 3.46 you would have 289ft/lb mtr and 3.64 you would have 274 ft/lb mtr which is about right going off a to4z comp map and that motor

polley 916 Report post Posted September 10, 2013 Can anyone explain why some people use road speed as the bottom axis instead of RPM? Seen it a few times and dont really see the point of it.
No name user 379 Report post Posted September 10, 2013 that dyno is built by torque performance and all there software does the same thing i hate using them as it makes no sense to read unless you know diff ratio versus speedo and rpm at set point agree and the point would be? there is none but making it hard to under stand what it all means
Garett 103 Report post Posted October 28, 2013 Ha getting my head around the new page layout, its quite good. Ok a couple of updates.. Ive just spent countless hours sanding the car getting it ready for paint, don't look to hard at the paint job ok im not a panel beater lol Ive also fitted a oil pressure sensor sender unit to where the oil light light on the dash gets it signal from, as the threads are 12x1.5 for the sensor plug and 1/8npt for the a/m sensor so I drilled and tapped a wheel bolt as you cant find adapters for this sort of thing. Ive made the floor out of 3mm alloy sheet and going to get some skateboard grip tape to complete it Also upgraded the dash from the early grey/black one to an late e36 black one which looks a lot nicer I reckon umm.. I made a catch can out of cardboard then out of alloy from bending it in the vice, just need to get it all welded up now, I made it without doing any research on it haha so I think it may be a lil big, but guess better to big than to small huh And fitted some bonnet catches the flush mounting ones The goal is to have the vehicle ready for powercruize in taupo for the 15th nov

Garett 103 Report post Posted November 1, 2013 How'd I miss this update? Flash as cuz! Cheers bud, got a couple more updates... Went everywhere to find good things for my car, found some grip tape from the surf shop 30 bucks for 3m which I thought was pretty good, I got my catch can back half welded so I can finish the internals of it, made up some heat shields for the bonnet that sh*t really cuts ya deep if ya not carful lol, I also installed E46 high stop lights in the front and rear, the front is activated via the missile switch, those switches are awesome I just want to have them for everything... Question does anyone have or know where to get a intercooler water sprayer from?? see I got the wires there that run from the ECU and id really like to put it to use
