zero 1162 Report post Posted March 2, 2016 What Sunday meet o.O There's so many going on. Most likely not if its this Sunday! Unless I chuck current tyres on them. http://bimmersport.co.nz/topic/49568-auckland-monthly-coffee-and-cars-meet/
Neal 546 Report post Posted March 2, 2016 (edited) Not sure about the others, but I would avoid those like the plague. As Josh says, there is a lot of difference with the same size tire between brands, (look at the 'stretch' a PSS has compared to other brands) PSS a step up from these. For the odd bit of Motorsport RE11 better again. re71r has replaced it but sizing might be an issue. Pzero has been known to crack below 5 degrees btw Probably not an issue in Auckland Edited March 2, 2016 by Neal

MISS BM 712 Report post Posted March 10, 2016 Can you elaborate Amber? Sort of like the coating you can put on cars, but for wheels (like CQuartz)
M3AN 4016 Report post Posted March 10, 2016 Sort of like the coating you can put on cars, but for wheels (like CQuartz) Thank you. But also where and cost - that would be the mere mortal cost, not your 'have contacts' cost

Michael. 2313 Report post Posted April 22, 2016 Tyres are the fundamental part of any car. Anyone who puts cheap brand tyres on their car is showing their lack of understanding and not a true enthusiast. If they can't afford good tyres then perhaps moving to collecting stamps is a better idea - cars are and will never be cheap to run I'll be interested to see what you got Amber! Well I could of bought a pov spec E36 instead of tyres.. But if we're looking at it like that, a decent 330 E46 for the tyres+wheels lol.. I've spent a decent "half" of what the car is worth on its set up..
Michael. 2313 Report post Posted April 22, 2016 Worth it though. Just because a car might be worth 5k or 10k doesn't mean it should be on $100 tyres for each corner. A budget performance set should be at least $1000, start to get some decent stuff in the $1500-2000 range. Depends on sizes of course. I wish this country had improved regulations on tyre quality, theres so many cheap brands out there now.

Must be super performance tyre haha (kidding!)
