Neil McCauley 485 Report post Posted Saturday at 10:34 PM Firewall rust? Looks like it’s creeping out from the sound deadening near the battery tray. if any Wellington members are gonna pillage it; I’d love the rear parcel tray with the integrated stop light! jerrycan 7 Report post Posted Tuesday at 05:03 AM (edited) Been watching this one with some interest, $1 res NZ new manual m40 316i 4dr base spec (manual windows, no AC, no foglights), 200k, definitely looks tidy, but maybe been resprayed at some point too given the rockers/rear stone chip arent the factory black anymore. Its now past $7k with a few hours left, if not an outlier (tbh seems already too high to me) looks like an interesting indicator of what the market is at. https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/316i/listing/5469093654 Edited Tuesday at 05:06 AM by jerrycan

nath 186 Report post Posted Tuesday at 08:01 AM (edited) 20 years ago, I had two 316i manual coupes, a few cars apart. While I don’t regret selling(except regret of selling bronzit one to a twat) they were a couple of the coolest cars I’ve owned. Yeah thats why I thought 7k was a bit much already, especially since it has basically no options too. Guess someone really wanted it

deedub 149 Report post Posted 7 hours ago Leather on the seats looks mint. Must have redone them? Would be much better with the mtech 1 front valance to complete it. Some don't like the 4 doors much but I like them. Reminds me of my mitsi's. Sporty but also convenient for a full car load on a road trip. I wouldn't hate owning a 4 door 325i facelift with mtech 2 kit. Would be cheaper than genuine mtech 2 coupe as well. Plus would be something the kids can ride in. The 320i M52B28 swapped going at the moment is nice. The workmeister wheels to.

How not to sell your car 101: Chapter 1. Photograph your car in a different condition to what you're selling. e.g. - the wheels pictured don't come with it. Chapter 2: Make the bits you bolted on sound really important, like most of a cobbled-together tech 1 kit. Chapter 3: Capitalize The First Letter Of Each Word.. Chapter 4: your turn...
