Not sure if there's such a thing as "wrong" style but I think they're 261's which were a factory option for the 130's, standard on the 135's. The blue one I shouldn't have purchased came on them. qube 3570 Report post Posted October 6, 2021 ^ I think he means the spare is a style 66 - E39 bore and offset which wont fit the 1 series
M3AN 4016 Report post Posted October 6, 2021 Ahh... I see. I wonder if that is better or worse than no spare at all (assuming non-runflats)?

M3AN 4016 Report post Posted October 6, 2021 16k? 🤨 A mint manual isn't worth that. And even with those miles a 10 year old car still needs 10 year old maintenance.

And love Advans. But that at that asking price I could have had two of my 130.

Any ideas ? Aprils does that on longer spirited drives but then comes right with normal driving. In my case I figured it was just pad buildup.

I suspect it might be pad build up as it only happens when coming from high speed to a slow speed/stop. My rotors are a bit rusty looking too.
Driftit 2094 Report post Posted October 18, 2021 Factory pads create a bit of build up. Always comes right with normal driving for me. Otherwise your lower control arms could be done.

Get M3 ones, you'll need an alignment afterwards but if your existing ones are shot then any replacement would likely require an alignment. The TRW ones, which are actually BMW ones, will probably cost you less than replacing the bushings in your existing ones. The M3 front lower control arms add camber which is a good thing. https://babybmw.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=109115 Edited October 19, 2021 by M3AN

duluth 41 Report post Posted October 26, 2021 Would style 385 rims from an f20 fit on the 130i?
E30 325i Rag-Top 2963 Report post Posted October 26, 2021 Probably yes, I am running F20 rims on the wife’s E87 and they are a very nice fit imho. From the reading I did the sizing and offsets between the two 1 Series generations was very similar, although I don’t think I checked style 385 specifically.
