  2. Up on trade me now, open to offers as have found replacement car possibly... https://www.trademe.co.nz/a/motors/cars/bmw/listing/4529833120?bof=ucgjfzVk
  3. Z4 3.0SI Recent suspension overhaul, Bilstein B4 with Eibach springs all round. Sway bar bushes, end links, RTAB, alignment all completed at same time. Looking to move to a 4 door fun car, consider deals and cash your way for a 4 door M car, or AMG etc. 131,000 kms approx $16,000.00 ono
  4. Seeing this post makes me realise how much I miss mine, best family car I have ever owned by a long shot, even the wife, who hates big SUV's loved the thing, they hide there size so well. She went from not wanting to drive it when we first got it, to having to pry the keys out of her hands anytime I wanted to drive it. I think the next family car upgrade I will go back to another X5, maybe a B58 engine as the last hurrah for petrol engines.
  5. Numbers off for the 2023 figure? Seem to suggest you are paying nearly $6 a litre with the $53/100km cost?
  6. Just did the RTAB on my E86 Z4 with this tool, worked really well, so another vote for this.
  7. As above, looking for a set of style 108 wheels for a BMW Z4. Cheers Paul
  8. Looking for a set of springs for my 2007 E86 Z4 Coupe. Rear right has snapped as they seem to do, so looking for a stop gap measure until I can get my hands on a complete upgrade.
  9. Bumping an old thread, did you have any luck with this? If so, are you wanting to sell it on again? If not, as per title, anyone have one of these available?
  10. Bugger, only just saw your reply after I ordered some new ones.
  11. Looking for a pair of black kidney grills to suit my E86 Z4 after one decided to go missing. Cheers Paul
  12. Wow, that's a healthy premium over the auto model!
  13. Yes, should have said more specifically the hardtop/coupe version, manual convertibles seem to pop up semi regulary.
  14. Anyone know how many of these are floating round the country? Currently have a 3.0si with the auto which is pretty good and I absolutely love the cars looks, noise, driving and so on, however cant help but feel the car would be an absolute keeper with a manual transmission attached instead. In the past few years of watching trademe I don't feel like I have seen any pop up for sale, and scouring through the japanese auction sites it seems next to impossible to find one with a manual trans other than a full Z4M version (budget not quite there presently). Perhaps they were never offered in manual in the Japanese market? UK on the other hand appears like most were delivered with the manual box. Then the million $$ question, has there been any successful manual swaps? Imagine the cost would not be worth it unless you could do it all yourself?
  15. Was watching that one with interest as thinking about an F80, that's possibly an inflated price as well, the underbidder (jmags) had posted asking for there bids to be removed earlier that evening, but seller seemingly didnt and they must have had autobid on to 47k.

    E34 M5

Assuming your trademe name is similar to on here, Boxtser looks like a great buy at that sort of money, would be tempting if I had the garage space just to put away for sunny days.
  17. What is the US type TP's?

    E34 M5

Looks like it sold for 29k https://auctions.webbs.co.nz/m/lot-details/index/catalog/502/lot/121802/1993-BMW-M5?url=%2Fm%2Fview-auctions%2Fcatalog%2Fid%2F502
  19. Like that alot! Sort of thing I could happily get rid of the X5 for, just maybe not at that kind of money.
  20. Seeing more and more of these pop up now, and maybe interested in one for the wife as in theory the eletric range would cover 90% of the her daily driving. Curios though, is it fair to assume that if you have burnt through the batterys eletric range and its switched over to the petrol engine, if you went to put your foot up it to overtake something quickly you would only have the petrol engine power output, rather than the 250-260 combined HP? Or does the car always save some battery for this type of situation?
  21. Open to offers, otherwise will no doubt get bent over if I trade it in instead.
  22. NZ New 62,000km Full leather Full BMW service history Michelin pilot sports in good condition, wheels immaculate, no kerbing or damage Bought as a BMW Premium selection car from Auckland BMW end of last year. Epic car, but be warned, its pretty much like a gateway drug, you may 'need' a full blown M car after driving this.

    Black Car Care

Gave in after the pics on here and bought some of this stuff as well as the spray. Car was very tidy anyway, so maybe hard to spot the difference, but certainly looks nice and shiny. Just gotta wait to put the spray on, didnt realise it was 24 hours after the polish. Also have that same DA from supercheap, seems to work well, however also have never used a DA before so no idea on comparison with other units.
